how does your sidebar image change every time someone refreshes the page? just curious, thank you c:

how did you get the changing sidebars??

Ok so the tutorial i found was really hard and it took me so long to figure it out so ill explain it myself under the read more..

so basically go to your theme, edit theme and all that fun stuff. click your html and scroll down till you see: 

now youre gonna replace the  with this code.

Now save all the gifs you want (to add more gifs keep adding new rows with this: myimages[3]=”image6.gif” just make sure you change the number in the [#]

Next youre going to upload the gifs to this website http://www.tumblr.com/themes/upload_static_file

copy the url it gives you and paste it where it said image6.gif in between the ” ” (dont erase the ” “.

Hi there! Do you by any chance know of a code to change a sidebar image on the refresh? (and also directions as to where to put the code too bc im not good at html stuff) thanks!

Find where your sidebar is in your theme currently, and replace the code with this code. 

Then replace IMAGE URL with the actual image url, you can add more lines and as many photos as you want, just make sure that you change the number, for example myimages[4] myimages[5] myimages[6]

my sidebar is changing with pictures of the boys at my concert wearing their jersey of my hockey team and i couldnt be more happy

guys i need help i just changed my theme and i really like it but it wont let me change my sidebar or save any changes i make??? idk what to do ive been having this problem with other themes to and usually i just have someone get on my account and change it and it works for them??? idk but i really want to be able to change it on my own i mean nobodys probably going to even read this but whatever yeah if u are reading this and u know how to help or idk maybe somebody could get on my blog and change it for me?? i doNT KNOW screams!!!!!!

Hey, bby, you should tell me how yo pretty sidebar keeps changing :3

Random sidebar Tutorial~

1. Open blog> Customize> Edit HTML

2. Copy this code

3. Find 

4. Delete that code and enter the code you copied.

5. Enter the image links for the images you want. All images must be the same size and uploaded to the web to be used. I recommend you edit the photos to the size you desire and create a page like I did here with all of your sidebar images so they are uploaded and available to incorporate in your random sidebar.
