Okay Superman spoilers but —

When I first saw the film, I had that “this is Superman” moment during an early fight scene when Clark goes out of his way to stop a monster from falling on a building full of people, and he takes the time to ask the people in the building if they’re all okay.

It’s such a small moment but it’s just so diametrically opposed to the Superman that Snyder created, who was so careless about destroying entire cities that it sparked the main conflict in Batman v. Superman. All because Snyder wanted him to be a god rather than a human being.

But Clark’s strength is being human. And the movie made that so clear at every opportunity.
