I just like how I'm the only exception to call you Little Spider lol, and imagining you having control over the world is the scariest idea ;;; think of all the angst and yugioh you'll force upon the world...But you'll let me scotch free right? ;3

Oh what do you take me for? I would not force angst or ygo upon the world. I would be a merciful god. XD

I mean even as a writer I don’t consider myself particularly cruel. Sure I write a lot of angst, but I mostly do soft angst, as in, I don’t make terrible things happen to the characters, I mostly just expand on their angsty emotions from more mundane occurrences. But like... I don’t kill characters off for fun or anything hah...

DENNIS AND LAUGHTER!...Please.

So my friend once told me about a friend of hers back in grade one. Every time her mother gets angry and shouts at her, the girl would look at her the way her mother’s mouth moves, and it’ll look funny and make her laugh. Once she starts laughing her mother would tell her to stop laughing, but laughing is infectious and soon her mother couldn’t help but laughs along with her.

That was literally the most bizarre conflict resolution strategy I’ve ever heard, but for a child, it’d work.

Dennis found out at a young age that laughter and smiles are a good way to diffuse anger from others, and dispel fear from himself.

Laughter is a defence mechanism.
