          “  Would you like some ?  ”   Offer extended,  she raises a hand to bring a bundle of herbs to her attention,  tied together quite neatly with lavender colored twine.   It was merely an assorted bundle of extras she had recovered from the greenhouse,  having already bottled what she needed for stock.     “  I think a lot of these are used in this semester’s potions class if you need them.  ”   // @chynng​

        ❛  you  know,  i’m  convinced  that  i  might  actually   be  the  most  accident  prone  quidditch  player  this  school  has  ever  seen.  ❜   something  katie  could  only  presume,  of  course,  but  having  sustained  a  total  of  six  injuries  in  the  four  years  that  she’s  been  playing ?   if  she  hasn’t  broken  a  record  then  she  definitely  thinks  she’s  set  one.   ❛  if  the  wizarding  world  had  the  same  medicine  and  treatments  the  muggle  world  did,  i  probably  would’ve  quit  by  now.  ❜

            “  Oh,  I’m quite alright.  ”     A small wave of her hand,  as if to shake off the injury that sat atop it.   There’s a small chuckle,  gaze falling down onto the bandaged that covered the scratch underneath.   She’s was honestly surprised she didn’t receive worse,  and only walked away with such a small injury.   Glass was nothing to be trifled with.

            “  Really !   I’ve most certainly had worse before.   If this is all I got,  I’m fine with that.  ”

𝐈.    LOYALTY .     a     curious     concept     for     one      such      as      her .     galinda     arduenna     of     the     noble     arduennas ,     raised     in     the     values     of     purity     and     wealth      -----     success     (  n .  )     is     defined     as     that     which     will     further     one’s     image .     her     parents     have     never     shown     her     the     mark     but     she     knows     that     they     bear     it .     still     struggles     to     know     what ,     exactly ,     she     is     doing     HERE        [ ... ]     torn     between     two ,     perhaps     three     loves ,     three     sets     of     ideas  .

 galinda     is     unbearably      shocked      to     find     that      she      is      trembling.     the     hand     changying     held     is     clammy     and     unstable     and     she     ----     she     does     not     know     what     to     do .

𝐈.     taken     by     surprise    ﹔    so    rarely    is     she     questioned ,     CONFRONTED   even     in     small     ways .      [ ... ]     this      is      the      nature     of      𝖗𝖆𝖛𝖊𝖓𝖈𝖑𝖆𝖜  ,     blunt     accuracy     in     self-assured     packages ,     and     the     unfortunate     truth     of     it     is     that     galinda     has ,     when     she     steps     back    to    examine     it ,     made    a    social    error .

❛     i     suppose     it    does  .     ❜     assuredly     so     -     but     perhaps     that     was     her    intention.     looking     to     crack     the     other     girl’s     exterior .     yes ,     that     is     an     angle     she     can     work     with     indeed.    ❛     wouldn’t     you     say     we’re      close     enough     now     for    𝑃𝐸𝑅𝑆𝑂𝑁𝐴𝐿    𝑄𝑈𝐸𝑆𝑇𝐼𝑂𝑁𝑆   ?     ❜

𝐈.      featuring     GALINDA     ARDUENNA    -     they     are      the     popular     girls.     it’s    what    everyone     says     in     the     halls,     and     beyond     anything    else,    galinda     listens.    she     keeps     her     thumb     on     the     pulse     of      the    school    at    all     times,      must      do     to     stay     afloat.    that     pulse    beats    to    GALINDA     AND    CHANGYING     and ,    because     she     is     slytherin,     because    she     is    of    noble    blood ,     she      will    use     that     to     her    advantage.

it’s     a     smattering     of     silver    words :     there’s    a    party    down    at    rosmerta’s     tonight ,    you    simply     must    join    us .    for     galinda,     that    is    usually     enough,    but     she    expects     changying    might    come     as    a    bit    of    a    surprise.

𝐈𝐈.      featuring     ELPHABA     THROPP     -     in    which     elphaba     is     the     gryffindor     team’s     second    chaser,     at     the     urging    of    one   professor    mcgonagall .     she    is    incredibly    quick    on    her    feet    and    needs     to    make    friends     besides,    according    to    her    head   of   house :   the    reputation    of     a     new     transfer   makes     her     prospects     pityingly     few.  

she   meets    changying ,    truly    meets    her    (    their     eyes    M A Y    have   met   once    or     twice    across     a     double    potions    lesson,   but    elphaba     can’t    recall    )    at    the   gryffindor     /     ravenclaw     game     at     the    start    of    fourth    year.     changying     impresses     elphaba     with     her     skill     and     determination     and     she      finds     herself     thinking     maybe     she     wouldn’t      mind      that     friendship,     really.

𝐈𝐈𝐈.      featuring     ELPHABA     THROPP    -     in     which     elphaba    is    a    reluctant    member    of    the    DA    (    is    it    absolutely    necessary    that    our    organization’s    name    come    from    that    of    an    old,    manipulative    man   ?   )   and    finds    herself    fighting    alongside    changying .    there    is    more    to    her    than    elphaba     might    have     once     thought     privately ,     more     to     so     many    students     of    this     school     but     especially      those     that    have     been    as    overlooked     as    the    two    of    them .    as     underestimated.
