The garlic came in better this year
i don't say that often. usually there's something — some blight, some curl, some yellowing at the wrong time. but this season the rows looked healthy and full in a way i can't entirely explain, except: we changed what we put on them. switched to an herb-based foliar spray made from 15 different plant extracts, applied early in the morning before the heat sets in. small change. quiet change. the kind you only notice when harvest arrives and you realize nothing went wrong. sometimes the best farming decisions feel less like decisions and more like listening.
