The title says it all. Since my parents are getting onto me about finding a job like, right this second but nobody seems to want to hire me and I’m researching freelance stuff at the moment, I’ve decided to make a sort of Desperate Hours post because my parents’ insistency on making money is about to drive me insane. So. The point of this post is to tell you that I’m going to be taking writing requests/commissions. I’ve tried this once before and had no success but I’m willing to try again. If this interests you, please keep reading for things I will/will not accept, and terms and conditions, etc. I’m not just limiting it to fan fiction this time; other genres are now being included. Please note that I aim to keep these works short, since I have many long projects and don’t want to add to the pile.
Fiction/realistic fiction
Fan fiction (please keep it restricted to Killing Eve, as that’s the fandom I’m currently in)
Apocalyptic/post-apocalyptic
These are all genres I’ve written and ones I know I can do well. It should be noted that my work is about LGBT+ people and has them as my main characters.
First person, second person and third person
These will vary from story to story, as the project will usually tell me what it wants to be written in. It’s also subject to change. Changes in story will be discussed with clients.
Adult themes (including sexuality)
Content That Will Not Be Accepted/Written
Heavily explicit/anatomical sexual language (it makes me uncomfortable as a writer; I aim for tasteful in my explicit scenes)
I expect patience when working on stories. Writing is not an easy thing, and it’s sometimes a very slow process. I also would like to be in contact with clients about changes to stories or just to keep a general update as to how it’s coming along and whether the story meets clients’ standards. Contact is also recommended in case clients have any questions or if I have any questions.
I am charging a rate of $1.00 per 100 words. (i.e. 100 words = $1.00, 200 words = $2.00, etc.) I accept payment via Ko-Fi or PayPal. Payment may be sent once the story is completed.
