It was interesting to learn things about myself while watching Exandria Unlimited: Divergence. Not because I was attracted to Alex Ward, weird guys will always do it for me, but because it took me a while to realize I kept giggling every time Alex Ward as Crokus growled/spoke in a growling voice.

Petition to make crocus the "official" RK1K flower.

So I'm dyslexic and when I first saw the shipname Conkus I thought that it said "crokus" which I believed to be the correct spelling of the word "crocus" and from there on my mind wend spiraling so have this:

There are two myths (of which I know) about Crocus. One of which is a possible variation (since it's more than just similar) to the – probably wider known – myth of Apollon and Hyacinthus. In this version Crocus is a young mortal companion [and we all know the word companion is more or less just a synonym for lover in ancient Greece] of Hermes. Who upon a game of playing discus accidentally kills Crocus. Realizing this the god is so distraught that he turns Crocus' body into a flower.

But why do I think the crocus would be a good flower for the RK1K ship? Just because I misread and there is a sort of romantic but hardly known Greek myth that exists? Well yeah at first... but then I actually googled the flower and I found out that the crocus naturally has variations of the colors: White, Purple and Yellow. Colors that apparently stand for White: Purity, Innocence and Truth Purple: Dignity, Pride and Success Yellow: Cheerfulness and Joy

all adjectives that I personally could very well bring into connection with RK1K.

On the other hand, I'm literally just rambling and having fun over here so don't mind me
