Ishgard had opened their gates after having them closed for so long and it gave Peach hope for her own home. Peach wanted nothing more than her country to follow in Ishgard’s footsteps. But before Fungoso could open its warm embrace to strangers and adventurers alike, it needed assurance         assurance that all the effort would not be for naught. That was her father’s decree. He needed to know if Eorzea, even a small piece, was interested in pursuing a trading relationship before he opened up Fungoso.

The king wanted to send somebody else, anyone else, but Peach would not allow another soul to venture over the water. It had to be her. She had her reasons but most of them were SELFISH. She had never seen Eorzea, she had never seen anywhere but her own island home and the princess had scoured the island country till she had seen every inch it had to offer. She would often stare across the water and wish to be whisked away so she could see and experience something different. Now was her chance.

She had decided to go to Ishgard first, it was the farthest and so like her home that she thought her and Ishgard’s leaders would have some common ground. She had not believed it would be so COLD, though! Fungoso was of a temperate climate so she was used to the sun on her skin, it rarely snowed back home but here it seemed the snow was endless. She was wrapped up in two jackets yet the princess still shivered. It didn’t help that she had no idea where she was going. The hyuran woman was terribly lost within Foundation and she certainly hoped to not keep its leaders waiting.

             after returning to the source , zyku was making her rounds around eorzea .  from ul’dah to gridania to limsa and now ishgard .  it was nice to be back , to see the people and city that ended up very near and dear to her .  though it was a bit colder than she remembered or maybe she just wasn’t dressed properly for the weather .  hearing someone call out her name , her ears perked up a bit , a smile forming on her face as she turns around to greet her friend .  guess the word had gotten around faster than she expected that she had returned .  not that she minded , he was just who she was on her way to see .

𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐎𝐍𝐋𝐘 𝐁𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐀𝐁𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐌𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃𝐋𝐘 towards aymeric’s words, did he …? did he hear him right? haurchefant was definitely caught off guard by the genuine sincerity in his voice as he uttered these words. at first, the silver - haired elezen wanted to laugh and pat his shoulder to lift the weight that his words seemed to carry. but he knew better, he knew better than to be so heartless to dismiss these words, and the fact that he refused to let himself chuckle in response. his face was dusted in a soft pink, his eyes slightly wide subtle shock.

‘   to think you would turn to someone like me for that peace.   ’   someone so … no. he would not continue that thought, in fact, he would wipe his mind clean of all demeaning thoughts about himself. for his sake, and he could now find himself smiling warmly, brightly, and finally at peace.   ‘   you have always been my peace in this world, aymeric. and once i had hoped i would be yours.   ’

It’s become somewhat rare for Fleur to wind up in Ishgard, her duties as a member of the Scions calling her attention away from the city she’s come to view as a second home more often than naught. It’s a shame, she will admit, that she doesn’t get to spend more time in the Holy See but Fleur goes where the winds of change will her. She goes where she is needed and Ishgard seems to be doing fine.

She smiles as she spots Aymeric in the streets. The respect she has for the man putting a bounce in her step as she makes her way toward him.

“Lord Commander,” she calls out her smile turning into a sharp grin as heads turn her way, “Put any thought into my offer of adventure?”
