I can't stop thinking about your kids with dabi would be like

A spoiled daughter that is always found sprawled around the couch wearing her spaghetti strap tank top tucked underneath a glittery pink tutu that always vacates annoying, sparkly pink glitter everywhere when she ruffles herself upon something along with cheap pink fairy wings and a plastic tiara, drinking apple juice out of her Disney princess sippy cup with the most bitch- resting-face she inherited from dabi. A sassy daddy girl but won't hesitate to put him back in place if he gets too out of line.

And then there's your baby boy who is so responsible at such a young age compared to his sister. The sweetest runt in the litter and is always bullied by his sister. Never asks for anything and is a mama's boy.

I just imagine Dabi is the the type of dad to let your kids wear what they want, so if that means a tutu over a jumpsuit with wings, a tiara, and plastic heels... that means A TUTU OVER A JUMPSUIT WITH WINGS, A TIARA AND PLASTIC HEELS.

You try to convince her to wear something else to school, and before she can even get mad at you, Dabi's like "C'mon. Just let her wear what she wants😑"

Not even on your family photo day can you get her out of pink. It's cute, but all your pictures of her as a youngin are of her dressed up looking all silly.

It also sucks when they go out shopping together, too, because he gets her whatever she points out. Princess sippy cup. Glitz sunglasses. A new backpack. And even when you're with them, going through all the normal clothes, you can just tell they're two peas in a pod.

(When it's mommy time, though. She's always like "no one wants you here, dad" to Dabi LMFAOOO and he's a little offended🙄)

Thank heavens for your little son, though. Always stays by your side and wants to hold hands or help with the chores. Dabi's always trying to make him giggle, but it's you he's running to when he needs to be shy.

Your daughter is always beating on him, but I think they're friends, too. At least, he doesn't mind playing tea party and stuff with her or letting her put YOUR makeup on him.

anyway more on dad dabi who can't say no when his little girl asks him to volunteer his help for the upcoming school trip. he's shuddering at the thought of all the other snot-nosed brats he's going to have to deal with, but he signs the permission slip before his baby's pout can even form. and he knows he's supposed to be looking after a whole group of kids but he's only got eyes on his sweet girl. he sneaks away to the gift shop to buy her a little something but makes her pinky promise she won't show the other kids (sealed with a kiss that takes too much bartering for his liking as she complains daddy, I'm with school now. do that later. but he's terrified at the thought of later never coming, so he pushes until she gives in to his whims, and he will most definitely be crying to you about it when he gets home.). he's constantly taking pictures of her, and he sends you a quick selfie of them eating lunch together on the grass, and he thinks he hears his heart break when she lets go of his hand so she can run off with her friends.

Dadbi AU anyone?

Izuku got adopted by his parents at a young age, when he was found by a young runaway teenage vigilante. The vigilante, Dabi, took the young kid in; refusing to let a kid go through a terrible childhood like he did. In order to support his new son, who he found had a letter on him naming him 'Izuku' (no last name), he starts working at a cafe. Well, he works at the cafe in the morning while he continues his vigilantism at night.

When his son was five, he was diagnosed quirkless. Dabi, although being very pissed at everyone around him, made sure to remind his son that even if he was quirkless, he wasn't unable to achieve his dreams.

About 1 and a half years later, Dabi got caught by a pro hero. The pro was Eraser head, knowing full well his son was gonna need to be picked up soon from school and worry about where he was; Dabi freaks out. Aizawa not knowing what to do, let him go seeing the panic in the vigilantes face.

The two, dad and son duo, used the last name of 'Hiro'. Dabi originally was just gonna train his son in self defense but it turned into teaching him all about vigilantism. Dabi often thinks about the fact that he could've ended up as a villain if not for his son.

When Izuku was a couple days away from turning 11, his dad meet a pro-hero in training. Hawks aka Keigo. Keigo upon meeting the sunshine ball that was Dabi's son, titled him self honorary dad.

Keigo and Dabi ended up getting closer and by the time Izuku was both turning 17 and Just named No.1 Vigilante, they had been married for a couple months.

Dabi started working at UA the following year, where he ran into Mr.Aizawa. He explained he had a son and what had happened all those years ago.

Hey! For dad Dabi au Dabi would definitely become a vigilante and he would always able to get some stuff for his son Midoriya. And maybe Midoriya developed his quirk and it's like Hisashi's quirk, but it resembles Dabi's quirk with he uses his hands to make fire. And Dabi is keen to teach him how to work it and he raised enough money to pay for Midoriya to get into UA.

also vigilante!dabi is so good??? like i can’t see him being a traditional hero, but him being a hero ~outside the law~ is rly perfect for this au

after giving birth i feel like dabi would have the straightest face ever, he looks un interested af and the nurses are even asking u if you want them to remove him, but once they leave he goes to the bathroom and cries like a baby. full on sobs just because he can’t understand how so much love made a human that tiny 🥺

Yes!!! AND imagine when he comes out of the bathroom, too, you + the nurse ask if he wants to hold the baby and he just keeps saying no because he knows if he does, he'll start sobbing all over again.

When you do finally get them in his arms, he can barely even move because he doesn't want to do anything that he thinks will disturb them. All he can do is look between you and the babe with a wobbly lip while you tell him, "It's okay. They're yours, and they love you already."

I just imagine that when all is said and done, though... he's never NOT interested in your baby. Goes from looking neutral as hell to refusing to be away from you guys. He spends entire nights just holding the baby against his chest and feeling the same as he did that first time in the hospital, except this time, he never wants them to see dad without a smile <333

You and dabi always argue over who takes care of the baby crying in the middle of the night. But you're arguing him because its supposed to be YOUR turn to take care of the baby.

But he's still all "nope, sorry. I woke up first, I get to hold and take care of the baby now >:) dibs." even though this is the 5th time this week where he's had his turn. Mf races you to the crib 😭✋️ PLEASE

It’s almost like he’s developed super senses when it comes to the baby monitor, too… as the moment he hears even a single chirp his eyes are flying open and he’s pulling some absolute stealth moves trying not to wake you when he’s leaving the the bedroom. You barely have time to open your eyes before he’s halfway down the hall, and even when you catch him before that, he’s just giving you this big ol’ dad smirk .

Oh well. He makes up for it with all the diaper changes this accounts for (and by looking so cute when he’s holding baby)… besides, it’s easy to get him back in the daytime when you manage to prepare all the bottles first🥰
