DARK DUDE
What I found interesting in the book Dark Dude is that people of the same race found ways to divide themselves up. It made me wonder why in the US we always talk about being united but never show it until it's the last option. In the book the lighter skinned toned boy is bullied and beat up just for being a lighter skin tone the other black kids. It was nothing about his personality they did it soupy because of his appearance. Now I am on page 165 and it's getting behind deeper into why the kids do not like him and bully him everyday. I really like this book because of the real life things that happen that happen everyday in this world and even Christchurch. I think people who are interested in african american studies and cultural differences should read this book.
