There’s so many interesting background characters. Only downside to drawing this is I’m now addicted to drawing circuits. They’re so fun.
From the Tron 40th anniversary panel at D23. DATA PUSHERS!
A rare production pic of some of the Data Pushers. Most of the scenes involving them were cut from the final film, we only see these 3 far in the background for only a few seconds.
This is actually the first time we see another program wearing their own version of a “sparkle cape” besides Yori.

Creativity
So today I did a photoshoot for work. I haven’t got to do a lot of creativity because now I work for someone else. It is often hard for me at times to keep my mouth shut. I have way different ideas than my boss. My boss is ecommerce. So boring. He wants to sell. I am so not that way. I am creative and I want to create. So here is what I have heard from him the last few weeks “you’re not organized enough”, “we are in business to sell not be creative”, “that idea won’t work” yadda yadda yadda… So frustrating and I know many of you relate.
So recently my creativity has been suppressed. I have been a workhorse, robot, data pusher. Whatever you want to call it. I just got off a 30+ day streak of work. Some days were 12 hours. It was hard. The important thing is we got launched.
Today was the first time I was inspired to be creative at work. It felt amazing and I miss that feeling. I need to chase that feeling more often or I will be burnt out soon. At my company we sell photographic equipment. Here is a photo I produced today with only natural light some products and of course a cute model dog for our “social media” pages.
So last night I was on StumbleUpon which is my 20 min down time before bed since Matt has taken over the tv. I e-mailed myself this quote that I came across on there and today I think it fits so well and hopefully inspire you because I know how much these words ring true to me.
“Admit it. You aren’t like them. You’re not even close. You may occasionally dress yourself up as one of them, watch the same mindless television shows as they do, maybe even eat the same fast food sometimes. But it seems that the more you try to fit in, the more you feel like an outsider, watching the “normal people” as they go about their automatic existences. For every time you say club passwords like “Have a nice day” and “Weather’s awful today, eh?”, you yearn inside to say forbidden things like “Tell me something that makes you cry” or “What do you think deja vu is for?”. Face it, you even want to talk to that girl in the elevator. But what if that girl in the elevator (and the balding man who walks past your cubicle at work) are thinking the same thing? Who knows what you might learn from taking a chance on conversation with a stranger? Everyone carries a piece of the puzzle. Nobody comes into your life by mere coincidence. Trust your instincts. Do the unexpected. Find the others…” – Timothy Leary
