Rocking these venues, O-Dog Day Partying from a jazz perspective while social distancing / quarantining but on the scene again; complex is how the sport will be…
Knocking hustles in these venues? aborting missions is how the system wants us to play it; like…

Victor Bailey was born in Philadelphia in 1960 in a family of musicians. His father was composer and saxophonist Morris Bailey Jr. Young Victor wanted to play the drums like his uncle and he did but one day, Victor was not even a teenager while playing in a band, the bass player quit and Bailey took over for him with a natural ability to play bass. He never looked back and bass became his instrument widely encouraged by his father. After attending the Berklee College of Music, Victor turned bass virtuoso and started to work in sessions and tour. His first professional year was in New York. The word about this young bass player ran fast among New York artists and Bailey was very busy working with everyone who contacted him. That year, Bailey worked with drummer Omar Hakim on a couple of projects. The two musicians developed a friendship. Omar Was then the drummer for Weather Report, he suggested Zawinul to hire Bailey for the next Weather Report recording: "Procession" In 1983. WR was looking for a new bassist and the fit was perfect. Bailey's years with WR brought international recognition and in 1989 Bailey released his first solo album "Bottoms up". Sadly, Victor suffers from a neurologic disease which has forced him to retire from live performing and resigned his tenure as a teacher at Berklee. The cut is "Nothing but net" from his 2001 album "That's right!" with Omar Hakim on drums, Jim Beard on piano and keyboards, Dean Brown on guitar, Bill Evans on sax. Also appear as guests: Lenny White and Bennie Maupin. #victorbailey #omarhakim #jimbeard #deanbrown #billevans #lennywhite #benniemaupin #contemporaryjazz #jazzrock
