So, my schizo thoughts about the tmnt characters in the "Chainsaw man" :D
Actually, the idea of Mikey in the form of a bomb demon came first. They are similar in many ways, and Mikey's ability to blow things up seems to fit him well. They are bright, sociable, and seemingly harmless individuals with a sharp tongue, but they are also strong, deadly, and unpredictable.
I also want to sketch him as a blood demon.
At first, I didn't have any ideas about the world's structure, but someone suggested that he could live in a hidden city from tmnt2018. This is a good option, as the characters in Chainsaw Man are human (well, visually, haha), and they live in Japan. I didn't want to make the turtles human to fit them into the Chainsaw Man lore, so I could develop the idea that the yokai and mutants live among humans or that everything happens in a hidden city (but I haven't watched Rise, so if you have, please let me know your thoughts).
I don't know if the plot would have gone like in the CB movie, but I like the idea of Mikey worming his way in, pretending to be a friend in order to get the heart of the chainsaw demon, but in the end, he really does bond with his victim.
The next victim for drawing will be Raph😈
