I can't remember if I ever posted my complete army of digibirds. Well here they are. I have 35! Sadly they're discontinued now so my collection won't get any bigger~ Still I love them they're so cute!

DigiBirds would be the most self-indulgent mashup I've ever considered, if you remember that the power of Digimon depends on their bond with their humans. And the birds' top Digivolutions would be my full-anthro designs. This means all sorts of cuddles with round squishy birbs and movie-style birbs and potential human/bird shipping and bird shipping/fusion. Too embarrassing to even talk about, heh... but I've seen human/Digimon naughty stuff with the 'mons in their non-humanoid forms, so my mashup can't be the worst idea in the internet.

So my child has recently received a "Digibird" as a gift, since we don't have the time and skills to take care of a living pet. So we got a plastic bird. A robot. Not living or breating in the slightest. A battery-powered toy that chirps.

So off course we did what every sane person does and found a suitable place to store it whenever child is done playing with it.

DigiRed’s signature skill would be called Fowl Battlecry, cause AoE damage while raising the allies’ attack, and occasionally break the fourth wall.

For reference, an average Digi-creature is about the fourth to third the height of a high-schooler or adult. It almost fits my headcanon size for the birds... for Red and Chuck anyway, ‘cos Bomb is bigger in all dimensions and Stella is taller. 

It would be amusing and ironic if Bomb was partnered with the shortest most petite human that has trouble lifting him, and we know from the movie that he can’t climb very well. Even though he’s mostly fluff and a bit of a belly, the birds are shown to be quite sturdy, which means robust bone and muscle density. Bomb could weigh like a Maine Coon cat. 

Chuck though is shown to be quite fragile so you wouldn’t have trouble going around with him on your head and shoulders, ‘cos of course he’d sit on your head, and anyone else’s head if they don’t shoo him away, and he would sneak into your backpack and munch on your snacks :3

You don’t need to be concerned about Red’s weight because he wouldn’t let anyone pick him up XD
