Background: I’m running lighttpd 1.4.28-1 on CentOS 5.3 to serve the static assets.

Symfony2 で http://example.com/ の URL で http://example.com/index.html を表示させたい場合に、デフォルトの .htaccess 設定ではうまく表示されず、DirectoryIndex も RewriteCond には効いていない。 RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d RewriteRule ^(.*)$ app.php [QSA,L] のように !-d を掛けるとうまく行った。 実際に(画像などの)ディレクトリが存在するとダメなのでかぶらないことに注意する
