I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it so I have to share: Imagine it being Dominus. It could be so interesting. Him being terrified of being fohnd out but up close and personal it’s really hard to deny that Tarn is super hot. To the point he’s grateful Tarn does Not fuck because he already feels guilty enough knowing Rewind is likely still out there somewhere, and actually sleeping with Tarn would only make it more crushing. And yet Tarn is still hot

I imagine the fanfiction craze starts after Dominus turns into The Pet and just imagine Tarn writes something about totally-not-Dominus. He probably doesn’t post it because out of all his fics, that one would raise a LOT of red flags and could potentionally lead to a lot of disagreements and a false death within the DJD.

Psychologically I see some very fun potential guilt there, and fun ways to play around with the pre-reveal dynamic in hindsight

"Your teammate turns out to be a spy for the other faction" has to be such a big trope in cybertronian RPF, if both because it's a plausible situation that happens and because it explores some interesting conundrums!!

(Would this also count as factionplay?? Especially since I bet for many that's a major part when writing spy smut)

Tarn's thoughts on MiniMegs are such an interesting can of worms to dive into because not only would he have Opinions about any relationship Megatron would form, but Tarn worked with Dominus Ambus. He's likely more than familiar with Ambus rizz than some might realize at first.

Plus it could definitely shine a new light on why Dominus ended up like That because Tarn couldn't truly bring himself to kill him or something.

IDK how I've gotten this crackship in my mind but I haven't even begun to consider the implications for how it'd affect Rewind

Could also play an interesting part in the DJD's response, the Domestication, and in general the Pet getting handed off to Kaon.

This could affect Rewind in fascinating ways, considering the plot there with Rewind continuing to chase Dominus's ghost even after he remarried with Chromedome
