Bearded Iris Brewing Double Scatterbrain DDH with citra. Take a, by all accounts very good, 100% simcoe DIPA and double dry hop it with some citra and this is what you get. I really didn't expect Nashville to have such a solid craft scene and if I wasnt traveling on a budget and trying to avoid checking baggage, I would have raided the liquor store for some take homes. This DIPA is a very good showcase of the best attributes of simcoe and citra hops with faintly syrupy, bready malt. Tons of tropical fruit, with some oniony notes. Slightly hazy, but the Marriott lacks proper glassware so I couldn't check the pour.
