Thought it’d be fun to do a short #mixingminute on the drums from my previous post, showing some of the elements that make up the drum sound as a whole. The process will change slightly depending on what the song needs: no samples, less compression, additional percussion or loops etc. but the way I group & “glue” when mixing drums stays fairly consistent.
