So I’m going to post this here because I know I have a lot of crechur enjoyers here.
The owner of Morphmarket/Dubia is working on that new social media app due to launch next week I believe. Well you can sign up early in the web browser version of the app and I figured I’d get ahead of the game and make an account. The first thing I noticed when I went to make my first post was that they have AI imagine generation *built into* the app???? Which is absolutely insane to me, I thought the point was to share the love for our reptiles?? I just don’t see where AI has a place in all that, especially if this is taking images from the website itself and potentially morphmarket I feel like this opens up a massive window of opportunity for scammers that are already rampant in the reptile community. They’re basically giving scammers a free tool… I was appalled and deleted my account there right after. I checked MM/Dubias social media posts about this app and there are no comments about the AI feature and I fear shouting about it there might not get anywhere. So please stay clear of coldblooded.com if you don’t want to have your reptile photos just stolen and made into AI soup.
