I haven’t done anything for/on my birthday since I was 11/12 so every episode of vanderpump rules where it’s someone’s birthday and they all go on an elaborate trip and it inevitably devolves into this backstabbing histrionics-ridden catastrophe I still end up throwing myself the dumbest self-pity party ever smh

Well, I've now talked about Grace and Frankie and Supercat fic during a comedy gig (and J7 and Mirandy prior to that) and let me tell you, people are so into it! There were definitely quite a few hoots and hollers and "hell yeahs!" to go around. Then I talked about how my fiancé and I both love older ladies but somehow still fell in love with each other and like, honestly, I don't care if not everyone understood that or could relate, because the people in the audience who did, the people who laughed and smiled and saw their lives and feelings reflected on stage for once, those are the people I'm here for. That's what makes it all worth it. You will never, ever appeal to everyone in life, so just be you and tell your story and your jokes and know that's what matters most.

I keep seeing new people on my dash and have been spending several days trying to figure out who they are and if they changed usernames or smthing. but just realized it's really fucking easy to accidentally follow people on mobile while scrolling.
