SPIDER SENSES TINGLING...
🕷 ⊰ carnivals are fun, but he never has the time for them. or time never has him. either way, the only reason he’s there is because a kid’s nearly dangling off one of the rides. loose seatbelt. but that’s easy. just a net or two of the webbing and the kid’s all set for an hour-long ride before it dissolves. of course, the ride only lasts a minute or two though. and any longer than that would have vomit involved. once the vigilante finishes assisting the boy in un-boarding the car, he’s given a ticket for his help. a thanks from the mother.
so he roams. hey, free ticket means a free.... something. he hasn’t figured out what he wants to spend it on yet. of course, he’s open to the idea of donating it as well. but when he comes across a girl who’s about his height, trying to slam a hammer down on one of those weights-- the kind of mini-game that’s rigged all over, but the prizes are too valuable to dismiss, something in him feels bad.
“yeah, it was worth a shot.”
he finds himself navigating through the surrounding crowd and towards the prop where she stands. “hey, mind if i give it a try?” before the employee could say anything, spider-man already tosses the ticket towards the man and swings the hammer a bit, just to get used to the weight of it. not bad. it’s actually quite airy-- but that’s his mutant side speaking. he turns to the girl one last time now, holstering the hammer over his shoulder, “all right, miss, which one of those stuffed animals am i swingin’ for?”
