3. What type/s of magic do they specialize in?Fire and healing! She can only heal physical injuries and she can blink with her fire magic!!
4. Which of the major arcana best represents them? Strength in reverse would be a good fit for Elyon as of now. She is a paranoid child and sometimes her instincts get the better of her but she’s a tough cookie. One day, the upright Strength Arcana will be the best fit for her.
12. What do they think of Nadia’s request that they go to the palace? ngl Elyon was kinda scared and couldn’t believe that the countess would pick her of all people.

ohnoiloveher
:D I’m glad! I like her a lot, although there is a possibility she’ll eventually be my Player of the Grand Game once that’s... an option. (I need to stop making new MCs for this game omg I already have a STABLE and am kind of tempted to draw a lineup)

!!! gorgeous! :)
Thank you! I’ve always thought twists were a beautiful hairstyle, so that was on the list of Things I Wanna Do when I was thinking about making a Revairan who actually... looks Revairan. Unlike Calanthia, who looks Arlish. Oops. >.>

She's so pretty!
Thank youuu~! I have a pinboard for her and another one for the country she’s marrying into and it was just like, ‘now I have to draw her, because wow, aesthetic.’

Ahhh I've been trying to find an active link to that shirt FOREVER!! I missed it a while ago when a bunch of my friends got it and their links wouldn't work so i kind of gave up!
Yay, I helped! :D

that is an AMAZING shirt
I am looking forward to wearing it in public. And to protests. And in front of my dad. ^_^

That. Is. So beautiful??!! Love the styling as a painting, LOVELY.
Thank youuuu! I’m always kind of nervous when I try something that’s Really Off-Model for me, which... no linework? How does this work? But I thought it came out pretty nice! :D
Eeee thank you! (Under a cut because I am The Least Concise.)

4. Siblings - Revaire - any/all
Calanthia adores every single one of her siblings, although she doesn’t exactly UNDERSTAND most of them. In order from next-oldest to youngest, her younger sibs are Portia, Abigail, Emmaline and Gregory (twins), Briony, and Ianthe.
Portia is officially The Pretty One, but she’s also painfully shy, kind of a shut-in, and abjectly terrified of the idea of marriage (Calanthia’s own marriage was partly because they were literally not able to afford food, but also partly because her parents were making increasingly-serious noises about taking Portia to court to make a ‘good match’). Abigail frowns a lot, has disapproved of mud and dirt since she was about three, and loves music with a bone-deep joy (she cannot carry a tune in a bucket, but she’s very good at playing the piano when it’s actually in tune).Emmaline is Calanthia’s favorite because she is a ball of sunshine and sweetness and she takes after Big Sis Anthy in having entirely too much determination; she was always going to grow up to cause other people headaches and Calanthia adores her. Gregory is the heir, the only boy, and the only one their parents listen to with any frequency; Calanthia started getting him to present petitions from the child-collective when he was six. Briony tries very hard to garden and is emotionally invested in the sheep (Calanthia, who has never had any pretensions to being outdoorsy, is bewildered but encouraging). Ianthe was an oops and is MUCH younger than the others, so they all co-parent (this is probably a good thing, because their parents are disasters).
In my first draft for her family, Calanthia also had an older sister, Gweneth, who is now Schrodinger’s Sibling; I’m not sure what’s going on with her or if she’s still alive (but Calanthia definitely learned at least half of the ‘point at a different target’ trick she pulls on Jarrod the first day of the Summit by trying to keep parental aggro off her most emotionally delicate sister).
7. Parents - Corval - mother
Nisha’s mother taught her how to dance, how to dress well, and how to smile at someone you would really like to half-drown in custard (while plotting to ENTIRELY drown them in shame). Nisha thinks her mother hung the moon and she will not fight you if you disagree (that would be TACKY), but you will probably find inexplicable frogs in your belongings for the next month and people will giggle behind their hands as you pass for much longer than that. Not that Blain experienced exactly that. Nope. Wasn’t her, no one can prove it.
19. Rivalry - past
Calanthia had a ‘rivalry’ in much the same sense as she does with Avalie in-game - kind of a ‘worthy opponent’ situation - with the Dowager Marchioness who lived nearish to her father’s estate. They didn’t get to the ‘friendly sniping and conversational traps’ stage until Calanthia was fifteen and stepped up her game, though - before that, it was definitely weighted more towards ‘mentor’ than ‘rival’. Aleni bores easily and wanted someone to engage in witty repartee with who wouldn’t just stare blankly when she made a historical allusion, and most of the neighborhood was... well, let’s just say having a good memory for history has not been a popular pastime in Revaire for the last few years.
Demetria had like. All of Wellin. Also, at home, there were a lot of boys who tried to push her around when she was still a sprog. They got smacked in the shins with sticks for their trouble. (The cleverer ones caught on pretty fast that she was the Count’s daughter and that dropping them in the dirt was much kinder than, say, telling her father and getting THEIR fathers turned off.)
Nisha had Blain. (Poor Nisha.)
Thank you so much! :D (17 is coming up in the next set!)

lol i started playing too like last month. u dont get charlie until fourth year, sucks. also, wait until u get barnaby lee, he is too precious.
Ugh fourth year makes it even worse!! I just want to hang out with the dragon nerd dammit!! Like He’s right there! Talking about dragons, why the heck can’t I talk to him!! Or Tonks! Or Bill!
Barnaby does seem like a sweetheart from the even where you had to plan Hagrid’s birthday party, but I’m still slogging through first year so I have no idea when I’ll get to meet him either!

OMG it’s Christmas, thank you!

For Thenali and Eder, I’m pretty sure I’d write this as recuperation while she’s getting over, y’know, having her soul ripped out and bits of it stuffed back in and also having been unconscious for a few weeks after having most of her castle dropped on top of her. That definitely left a mark or seventeen. I’ve written a bit of that already, because she definitely doesn’t just hop right out of bed and fight pirates. So basically, a lot of Eder kind of taking care of her the first little while and then having to occasionally bodily haul her places while Xoti goes ‘I can heal her!’ and everyone else is like 'er, you can try.’ Canonically, soul maladies are hard to address even with magic, and I really doubt there’s been significant study into magically rehabbing people who were mostly dead and in a coma since most things in this universe seem to either kill you outright or let you get back up again.
Also I am Weak for people being carried. I have a problem.
For Aulikahi and Tekehu, I think I’d go with Auli being surprisingly gentle when Tekehu’s being squeamish - which isn’t the meaning of ‘sick’ that’s intended, I know, but that scene where he’s abjectly horrified by the state of the Gullet and you can hold his hand punched me right in the feelings (mostly because she’s among the least gentle characters I’ve ever had and her being Soft is therefore very important to me). I may also have already written some of this. Oops.
(You kind of picked my catnip, which is why I’ve already written it for the two kids who actually have coherent stories attached. Thank you!)
This was so adorable, endearing, sweet, funny, etc. etc. I loved Michi’s voice, and I loved Ana taking care of her. And how Michi was just ‘Nope! SIck? I don’t know her! >8(’ Really good.
Michi is very stubborn, and rarely actually gets sick so she tends to underestimate how sick she is at any point.
Heartbreaking. It’s a nice grief/hurt piece. And done with a nicely deft hand; her inner voice is very distinct and relatable, and very real. And that makes it all the more touching.
I’ve long had an interest in grief - I was rather young when I started losing people close to me (though not my parents or any immediate family). I think there’s a lot of ways people can express it - Noa’s isn’t the 5 step process, or immediate and dark. Thank you! I’m very glad it’s relatable.

… oh go d xan. XAN. i don’t know if i can say definitively that she wouldn’t be starkers. o my go o dddd
xD See this is why it’s so funny to think about xD
I mean Seren is either wearing wrinkled af clothing from the day before with her hair an absolute fucking mess, or some combination- like she’s wearing just her tunic and underwear or something. Which means her internal dialogue is torn between Yay Asra is back and omg i am standing on the balcony, in front of the countess, the guards and the chamberlain, in my underwear i can never come back from this i must change my identity and fake my death immediately
