so I got a tattoo last Friday (it’s a bloody 13. in honor of Friday the 13th, and my 19th birthday) and tonight I’m getting another new tattoo!

I’m getting my name in Elysian code on my wrist!!

for those of you who don’t know what that is, Elysian code is the vampiric language from the book series The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod by Zac Brewer.

the vampires in the book get their initials in the language marked into the skin of their wrist, and it allows you to be part of the vampiric society, known as Elysia.

Having your Elysian name on your wrist means you are never alone, that you are part of a huge family of vampires- and vampires protect other vampires. having your mark means that all of Elysia is there for you.

so I’m getting mine to represent that I’m part of this vampiric community, and I’ll never be without support - even if this support is coming from an alternate universe.

okay but i want everyone to know that i’m fluent in elysian code and that i wrote my entire diary in it in 8th grade

My wrist tattoo doesn't show up on google anymore DX it used to be the 3rd result! And I know cause I spent many minutes looking to see if anyone else has their elysian mark as a tattoo. Still just me I guess :D
