“EPnite” or “EPeak” started way back when places like Elpisto or the black market or fellini’s were around. Now a days those cultural spots are gone. What remains is a few selected places such as Benny Franks and Monarch. There is a few other places here which one would argue whether spending their money there would be fun times, good people and even greater connections. Places like “common grounds” !?they don’t really care about a common ground they play their music selection and don’t really tailor to what they think you might enjoy. It’s your typical one up place. “The Union”, Arena, the Johnny cash beer garden or even tin man are places that do not offer friendly circles. They really don’t care about establishing residents or probably don’t even know what that is. Tin Man for example has a logo of a crankset, do they encourage cyclist to come in? Do the owners commute or practice any sport or extreme sport of any sort? Their creative approach to this culctural space is basically a boat load of board games. Which seems like a hassle once you’re there. When I got back from Austin in 14’ I closed my self out and kept to me and my girlfriend at the time. Living in sunset heights one of the most cultural places I searched for a sense of inspiration. For some of us inspiration comes from suffering and struggles sometimes. When you find yourself in these places and find out that there is no inner depth. There is no elegant essence to their feng shui. With inspiration perished and creativity in its last draws. You tend to anticipate the digital nomad lifestyle more than your moms menudo in the morning. The closest places we have to offer to our tourist or digital nomad in this city would be places like hillside coffee being pet friendly or SÖZ scratch pizza make sure to try those delicious apricot wings. As for a place to stay hotel indigo, tru by Hilton on the east, or a nice air bnb. On the East we have sprouts, specs and target and even a trek bike shop that is extremely helpful and filled with nice people just don’t forget to tip the bastards.
This is S. Williams coming at you with the news news.
