Amanda eyes the black bird the other was petting. One of the crows. Her and those things never got along. Especially in trials. They always gave away her position more than the survivors. She thinks they do it on purpose.

There’s hardly any light outside of the ugly little room, graffiti litters the walls. The window’s caked over with grease and old newspapers. Katie adjusts her grip on the mic, turning to watch the ‘police’ demon pick up the body and carry it away. There’s still smoking bullet holes in the walls, her hair’s a little frazzled. The camera demon’s arm is wrapped up and in a sling at this point. Everyone’s gone quiet and awkward.

“...that would explain why I didn’t find them after searching for two hours. I really hope there were copies of them since everything needs to be archived and so - though I have to ask the amount of coffee you’ve had before that.” Just for the sake of curiosity, not so much for her overworrying.

Junes. The jingly, upbeat tune blared through the speakers for the tenth time in a row. God knows how many times he’s forced to listen to it while serving up fake smiles at customers; kind, rude and impatient. Yosuke had invited his partner out after school ended to talk about... anything really. Yet he was barely paying any attention, eyes boring holes into his soda can when Yu spoke up again, bringing him back to reality.

“H-Huh? What? N-No, nothing.” He lied, but it was probably the worst lie he ever told. “W-Well... yeah, actually. A lot of things. About my future... I just don’t want to work here for the rest of my life. I’m tired of it. But I don’t want to tell my parents yet. They’ll be heartbroken... what should I do?”

MAYBE just MAYBE she shouldn’t tell him about the one that popped up on her today. It was the same one she got but --- shaking her head, she couldn’t help but sigh softly. she knew very well what that kind of mean, but she wasn’t going to bring it up t him at all. head titled for a moment, she almost wanted to know the reason to him not wanting to deal with any of this. 

“ not a fan of finding someone to love you? I can understand that, I’ve never been a fan myself, but. I don’t know, I always thought you were a closet romancer. “ she couldn’t help but let out a small giggle from her lips, trying to hide the fact --- that he might end up pushing her away, the moment he found out.  “ or do you think you just don’t have time to settle down? “
