A very biased summary of the ‘Merry Christmas on a Boat GIGS: Dante is coming to town’ event (skimmed quickly thru most of it as not really interested in Blast and Cure2tron…)
Crimson Group is having a special masquerade Christmas concert/event thing on a huge ocean liner that will be broadcast live (if I remember correctly). The ocean liner is called ‘Noah’ according to Adam. Master sends Blast and Cure2tron to infiltrate it.
Dante is there to seek vengeance on Guren and to ‘put him into despair’. He’s also there to find ‘that guy’s daughter’ which at first I thought he meant Miko (Euzeth’s daughter), but thinking about it now, I think he meant Kaname (Guren’s daughter, Euzeth’s wife & Miko’s mother).
Blast’s former vocalist (?) is there. He has joined Crimson Group.
Miko gets kidnapped. Yukiho is poisoned by this chubby and overly made-up singer named Annie.
You spot someone floundering in the sea, fish him up and it turns out to be Adam… Adam is a super Abhar fan. He is definitely that little grey-haired boy at the Dreaming Gig 15 years ago. Adam is so starstruck when he sees Dante that he faints! XD;;
Anyway, Cure2tron defeats Annie which makes her very depressed then Adam goes something like how there are no winners and losers in music and that everyone has the right to perform music, etc. He mentions how Euzeth was his idol and inspired him to get into music and so on. He also says how ‘Eve’ (Miley) reminds him of Euzeth.
There’s also this masked singer called ‘Dark’ that Dante has to defeat. Dark was originally someone called ‘Noein’ and he was the vocalist of a very popular band called ‘Misty Eyes’. Misty Eyes performed at the Dreaming Gigs with Abhar, but Dark/Noein is now under Crimson Group/Guren. Noein was a well-known womanizer then he was accused and convicted of kidnapping an underage girl… However, the truth was that the girl was a neighbour and she was being severely abused by her parents, so Noein rescued her and let her hide at his place. Her parents accused him of kidnapping and due to his womanizing reputation, everyone believed them and not him… After that scandal, Noein’s career was completely ruined, so he changed his name and joined Crimson Group as a masked solo artist called Dark. He tells Dante this is the only way he can continue singing. Dante calls him an idiot and like Adam says how everyone is equal in music and that the audience doesn’t care if you’re good or evil as long as you put on a good performance or something like that. He also says ‘Music is Freedom’ and how that was what Euzeth used to say… (Ahhh… Dante seems so sad whenever he mentions Euzeth. You really loved him, didn’t you, Dante?)
After all that, Dark decides to remove his mask. The audience is shocked when they recognize him as Noein but then they are moved by his music even though he has already been defeated by Dante.
Everyone then remembers that they have to rescue Miko! XD;; Just then Miko reappears with Yukiho who is now dressed back as a boy. The Blast boys cannot recognize him at all! Yukiho has rescued Miko while the enemy was distracted and he’s fine though Annie poisoned him as he’s used to being poisoned every day back home…
Then a helicopter arrives. Kaname and her younger brother Kouki (guitarist of Crimson Group’s top band, Xenon) get out. Miko screams ‘Okaa-san!!’ and rushes over to her. They are reunited~! Miko’s name is revealed to be short for ‘Mikoto’. Everything seems fine with Kaname letting Miko hug her and she says how Miko has grown, then Kaname suddenly says how she doesn’t want to see Miko ever again and pushes her daughter away!! I want to believe that she’s protecting Miko by pretending to reject her…
Anyway, seems like the Christmas concert has been cancelled as the Crimson Group bands there are all deemed unworthy by Kouki. Kaname and Kouki then leave… Miko is heartbroken that her mother has abandoned her again…
After all this, I think the probability of the vocalist of Xenon being Euzeth’s little brother is really high…
