[Random information about the main OC for this blog] Professor E [Professor of Human Studies at Monster's University] -Post MU- Age: 37 'Retired' Monsters Incorporated Human Expert Professor at Monster's University Early graduate of Fear Tech Worked at MI through an internship during schooling and graduated early to get hired full-time (mostly due to charter schools where she received her associates at an early age). Studied human's extensively--was a human expert for MI (studying new children and their fears to link them to an appropriate monster) "Retired" early due to the company growing to secretive for her liking Was picked up by MU as a professor (since most monster's aren't as interested in humans as she is) for the much needed position of Human Studies. Occasionally works summer jobs at Fear Co and Scare Industries to assess children's files and match them up with the scaring employees available.   Knows more about humans than any monster wants to know.  Most find her kind of odd because of it. Personality/Quirks Professional, serious, devoted to her work.  Can't scare because she hates making children cry (monster or human), has expressed interest in scaring should they ever move to teens or adults. Socially inept, tends to be reserved and even shy in large groups, preferring not to speak at all (more comfortable in the classroom for group discussions). She takes her work very seriously and can be offended when called out for her odd fascination with humans. Awkward under any romantic advances.   Very straight forward and honest when she gets to know a person, a bit blunt even. She can be bitter when others see her work as pointless Easily flustered when it comes to flattery. She has a terrible fear of spiders, she can handle spider-like monsters for the sake of toleration, but small creepy-crawlies just bother her immensely. When startled, she has a tendency to go into defensive override and may or may not bite the nearest person/object.  Her venom is very mild and hardly has an effect on monsters at all, it's sort of a built in muscle relaxant and is more of an irritation than anything dangerous.  (Luckily it's not super easy to startle her that badly) Other Spends most of her time alone, studies a lot, and focuses on her research.  She's had no luck with relationships of any sort though she has managed to keep one friend who will remain her best friend.  She doesn't typically open up to people because she's shut herself off from that, keeping up a professional forefront to all she meets.

Headcanon - Family

Amelia comes from an above-middle class family, and she's the oldest of 6, with five little sisters.

Olivia "Livvie" Johnson is 18 and going to Fear Tech next year. We all know Amelia couldn't scare a fly, and Livvie seemed to have gotten all her scariness. She's planning on becoming a scare major. Livvie and Amelia are pretty close, though Livvie is closest to Ava.

Ava Johnson is 16. She does alright in school, especially in math and science. She's thinking of going into Door Tech. Ava and Livvie are the closest of the sisters. After Amelia, Ava is the girliest and silliest. Amelia and Ava get along quite well.

Sophia Johnson is 13 and Violet's twin She can come off quiet as she's very shy, but she's quite intelligent and probably the most mature, despite being one of the youngest. Sophia is closest to Amelia and Violet.

Violet Johnson is 13 and Sophia's twin. Violet is a huge bookworm and can often be found curled up with a book. Of the girls, she is probably the dorkiest, but that's something she takes pride in. Violet is closest to Sophia, though she really admires Livvie. Amelia and Violet sometimes have conflicting interests and personalities, but they rarely fight.

Chloe Johnson is 8. Everyone who knows the family thinks that she and Amelia should've been twins due to their personalities. She loves rainbows and laughing and doesn't have a shy bone in her body. Chloe is the baby and loves spending time with all of her big sisters, especially Ava and Amelia.
