feopi retired dnd character my beloved
I finally got a chance to finish this meme. Featuring my character Annabelle
Daphne and Anisa belong to @caffeinerabbit
Feopi, Cone, and Chia belong to @eightyuh
I haven’t posted a sketchdump in a while, have I? I haven’t been sketching too much until recently, but I’ve got enough doodles piled up now to make a decent post.
It’s a mix of things this time: practicing poses, preliminary doodles for commissions, and some fan art. My favorites are @Eightyuh’s satyr D&D character Feopi and @CaffeineLapine’s deer character Daphne.
The wizard dudes are for an rpg/board game idea I’ve been developing. Not sure if I’ll actually try to get it finalized in any way though.
I’ve been testing out a new brush pen I got for my birthday. It’s a lot finer, but the ink doesn’t dry as quickly as my old brush.

A sketch of my friend @eightyuh’s D&D character Feopi in her new “level 5” outfit. It’d been too long since I last drew her.

I took the liberty of finalizing a little animation my friend @eightyuh over on Twitter drew the other day of her Dungeons & Dragons character Feopi. I didn’t want to see it go unrealized and Feopi is just fun to draw! If only Clip Studio Paint allowed for more frames…
I haven’t posted a sketch dump in a long while, but this is because I haven’t bee doodling quite as much, having been focusing on my online comic Starboard for the last few months http://starboard.thecomicseries.com
However, I’ve also been developing a custom Redwall-focused tabletop role-playing system for the past year or so (it’s really more of a Frankenstein amalgamation of other rpg systems to be honest).
I think I’ve got the rules and mechanics for my rpg system finalized now, and I’m thinking of maybe formatting it all into one big proper rulebook/manual and printing it (for personal use). I’ve been wanting to draw some illustrations for it. So, most of these doodles are my efforts to get back into drawing more realistic anthropomorphic animal characters—and to literally “brush up” on my inking and crosshatching techniques—to draw something on par with the illustrations featured in the Redwall novels themselves.
I’d like to be able to distribute my custom rpg system to other Redwall fans, but I’m sure there would be some legal issues with that unfortunately.

I spent like 3-4 hours on this thing today while I was watching our dog. Much longer than expected. But it was fun. Been wanting to draw my friend Eightyuh’s new satyr sorcerer Dungeons & Dragons character Feopi
I didn’t even know you could make your character a satyr…
I made a version with color/greytones for emphasis, but I prefer the black and white version.
Overall just sort of inspired by the Inktober art of @RedisojArt and the recent D&D sketches of Toni DiTerlizzi on Twitter https://twitter.com/TonyDiTerlizzi/status/1293202683789221888

I'd like to present you with a silly- AU where everything's the same except Glen got isekai-ed into their world. Just some dad coded man plopped into a fantasy adventure. I hope the thought gives you a giggle.
i thought "hmmm what sort of 'fantasy adventure' could i plop Glen into..." and thought of my DND characters!! <3 isekai'd "from one dnd game to another" ahahahaha ^^"""" ---
Feopi (the satyr) would play rough with him and be excited to finally have her own blorbo to command bonus actions upon. Glen would barely tolerate her.
Mig (the verdan) would spiritually identify with Glen, and I think he'd see her as like ... a frail, mistreated little goblin girl worthy of his protection.
