Harper was the love child of two teens who likely shouldn’t have procreated together, Chris Edelman who had big aspirations to becoming a doctor and her mother who just was rather flippant and flakey certainly not mature enough to have a child. However her mother had gained full custody of Harper as her father prepared to head off to medical school across the country. While her father wasn’t around he did often send money and other things to Harper throughout her life, cards each holiday and birthday, as she got older they spoke on the phone time to time to her mother’s disliking. 

Eventually her mother decided to move them out of New Orleans and into New York city, Harper took to the large city rather well joining the math and science academy for a short time till word of the Salvatore school for the young and gifted reached her and she talked her mother into sending her with the aid of her father’s payments. It was there that the young witch/wolf met Kilo, the two had hit it off right away and what seemed like puppy love to others just seemed normal to them. While at a party together when they were sixteen Harper was being harassed by some local boys from Mystic High and when she walked away one followed behind. 

Attacking her in the woods things moved so quickly she hadn’t had time to react, one moment there was hands touching her where she didn’t want them the next Kilo had the guy on the ground and he wasn’t moving. With some calm and quick thinking Harper helped Kilo clean himself up and move the body, she couldn’t let him get into trouble for helping her. And in the past it seemed that troublesome students were kicked from school and the idea of being there without him seemed too bleak.

Since that day the two haven’t spoken of it and there hadn’t been a need to, each full moon Harper went with Kilo to the cells locking him in and staying with him till he turned. To keep him calmer she found staying out of his wolf sight was better for him but she always returned in the morning with fresh clothes and breakfast for him. Once the monsters started attacking the school Harper helped the school coven while Kilo usually went with the school pack, one monster attack in the woods Kilo and Harper had found themselves together. When the monster had made a move towards Harper, Kilo shoved her out of its path taking the hit however Harper had been thrown to the ground, hitting her head on a rock and the impact had caused her neck to break.

Since the dead have been back Harper has been suffering with a withdrawal, during her school days she had been taking a potion that would level off her hormones and keep her from feeling the intense rage that many untriggered wolves experience. Being half witch she found that it was far more easy for her to lose her shit and end up taking someone’s life and therefore the potion was created. While she is with the resistance she has been working with the queen’s guard undercover though not to the benefit of the resistance but her own selfish reasonings. Hope the tribrid was near impossible to kill so the story goes and she wants the same to be said for her, its one mere step away for the hybrid she simply has to unlock what steps she could take to get what she wants.

Kiera Nichols was born and raised in the crescent pack her parents were lifers and their parents before them. She knew the likelihood was that she too could be a lifer and she made peace with that, home was home and the pack was as much of a family as she could hope for.  When she was 18 years old she ended up getting with Oliver, for a time till he decided to take up with the Guerrera wolves in which Kiera wanted nothing to do with him nor wanting her daughter to tied in with wolves like the Guerreras. 

With the death of Oliver she was heart broken to know he was gone but also felt it was something he had put on himself, she couldn’t go to the funeral, it wasn’t her place to mourn him and she had a baby at home to take care of. 

When the curse was finally broken and Kiera had accepted both Hayley and Jackson as her alphas she was granted the enhanced abilities along with the rest of the pack. She eventually joined the local police force able to help out keeping the supernatural secret from the humans in the city and her enhanced senses helped with her job greatly.

With Hope taking over the city, Kiera refused to take up as one of her mindless dogs but she isn’t about to go jumping into a war that she doesn’t need to be in. The crescent had fought enough in her life time, though if the right means came along she would be willing to shift her focus.

Sebastian was sold to pirates by his parents when he was at the ripe age of eight years old. Being that it was a young age and that he was in a stressful situation, at times even abusive he has trouble recalling his life as a human much less his old family. 

Sebastian has ripper tendencies but given his age he has had time to work on it, his time desiccated also helped him in terms of his ripper status. He knows that he can beat the urge to feed, that no matter how strong it got he could withstand it. 

His first love Cassandra was a skilled little witch who only wanted to stop a monster that was attacking the Roanoke colony, that monster being him and when she realized that after summoning a creature she went out of her way to protect the vampire she fell in love it. Causing him to have to watch her death before he desiccated completely and was forgotten in time.

Lizzie reminds him of Cassandra and because of his unresolved feelings for her his emotions for one sometimes blends into the emotions he has for the other. Sebastain has no ill will where his death is concerned, he knew that he was a danger to Lizzie much like he was for Cassandra and at least in his death he wouldn’t be left desiccating with time or putting her in harms way.

Now that he was he is on this Dark Hope’s side, wondering that end game was and why Lizzie was on this side. He is curious of her new nature and wonders if being the better man to get her out of the shadows was the way to go or try to get Lizzie to fully embrace the Queen’s way of things.

HISTORY

Carina was born a year after her older sister and highly adored her, wanting to follow her around on all of her adventures being an adventurous soul herself, though she tended to find a balance between being her more serious side and her rick-taking daredevil side. She was always focused on her studies and learning as much as she possibly could between both school and witchcraft. Her strikingly balanced personality led her to joining the Navy upon graduating high school, meeting a man a little after finishing boot camp and beginning her pilot training. The pair fell in love quickly and married within 2 years before welcoming a son into their lives a year after getting married. Her dream career of being pilot suddenly vanishing as she held that little bundle of joy for the first time. After 2 years of being a pilot with the Navy, Carina put in to be transferred state-side in order to be able to be home with her son more often than not. She transferred into the military police force, being stationed at the Naval Air Station in New Orleans as she raised her son pretty much by herself as her husband continued doing tours overseas. 

As the years rolled on, Carina found that her relationship with her husband was beginning to become strained, distant even, as the distance that continued to remain between them began to put the two at odds as she tried constantly to talk him into coming home, to transfer departments as she had to be with his family, his wife and son, but to no avail. A few months ago, Carina finally filed for divorce, tired of the constant fighting whenever he was home and not talking as much as they used to while he was away. She moved through the ranks in the Navy rather smoothly and easily, determined and competitive enough to put her everything into her job (and her son), before deciding to retire once her divorce was finalized, turning down the offer of Lieutenant rank and joining the police force, wanting to get away from the life she had once had and wanting to start anew with her now grown son.

Abigail Reynolds is the by product of a new Orleans witch and a wolf of the Northeast Atlantic pack member before the pack had left the area. Abi grown up pretty normal in the aspect of growing up in a city surrounded by supernatural as well as being a member of the coven during the first few years of her life things were dangerous in the city between Marcel fighting for power, to Klaus Mikaelson taking over, the power shift once more till finally they reached some years of peace only to be threatened by the Hollow. Most of the time however she was off at the Salvatore school, her mother wanted her to get a well rounded education about dealing with other supernaturals.

 While at the boarding school she kept mostly to herself, the factions in the school that were meant to make everyone feel included somehow always made her feel isolated more. She was a hybrid of both witch and wolf and therefore never felt like she fit in with one more than the other even while she wasn’t triggered.

Once she left the school she decided to stay close to home in NOLA and attended the local college following her passion in dance. Though she was a practical girl and knew dance would only last her as long as her body did and that was never guaranteed so she minored in business as well. It was at one of the college parties that she crossed paths with another former Salvatore student, Levi Kenner. While they knew one another in passing in the halls of the old boarding school they never really spent a great deal of time together.

Once they got to know one another the two were inseparable, they attended their classes and usually ended up with each other to study and usually ended up distracting each other eventually.  They had a pretty steady relationship, Abi often going with him to his family home for dinners meeting his family and she introduced him to her mother as well, the only saving grace was that he too was part witch. In the recent years she had found out that her father had other children, that she had half sisters out there

A little less than a year and a half of Levi and hers relationship she found out that she was pregnant. Certainly not something that was in her five year plan but eventually after a lot of long talks with Levi, her own mother and Levi’s mother Abi started to realize that while this wasn’t her plan it was a great alteration to the plan she had. The whole nine months weren’t easy but they made due, Abi made sure to keep up with her classes, even getting ahead where she could to make up for the time that she might be out for doctor’s appointments and for post-birth.

Finally going into labor was one of the most exciting and scary times for Abi, she had her mother near by and she had Levi but something still felt off. After hours of labor, blood, sweat and tears, doctor and nurses were sorry to report that their son hadn’t made it through delivery. Which hit both young parents hard and while grief had a way of bringing people together it also had a way of tearing them apart. Over the next ten months Abi hadn’t gotten closer to getting over her grief instead she was looking for a way to rid herself of it completely, by bringing their son back. Dark magic wasn’t something she ever looked into, the faction of New Orleans coven that her family came from was rather strict on the idea of unbalance. 

It didn’t stop her from trying nonetheless even knowing that it was dangerous not even just in the way of causing an unbalance but the mere fact that witches who try to use magic outside of their capacity rarely got to talk about it afterwards. Which was just the fate Abi had settled herself with, the night she tried to bring their son back she had lost her life in the process. unknown to anyone however was that when her life ended it sparked the life of the baby and somewhere out in the city their baby was alive and well. Its been nearly a year since Abi had died and now that she is back there is an ache in her chest that she just can’t seem to shake and while she doesn’t have a death wish, she can’t move on from the loss still.

HISTORY

Wesley, like his siblings, had never known a life outside of magic. Their mother and father were witches of the French Quarter and Wes and his siblings grew up abiding by the traditions and expectations set by the coven. The coven was split into different factions, each following their own rules and regulations, but all practiced Ancestral magic, drawing their power from the consecrated ancestors buried in the French quarter of New Orleans. Due to their power coming from the deceased, this meant that Wesley and his family were not permitted to leave, if they did they would be cut off from their connection to the magic and abandoning their legacy. This was something of which Wesley’s elder sister dared to do and as a result, was shunned from their coven for turning her back. Wes and his family weren’t immune to the rules beneath Marcel’s reign. His ban of magic in New Orleans when he was a teenager meant that they could no longer practice and under his strict rule, any witch caught practicing would be killed. Unfortunately, Wesley’s mother was one of the fallen. She had attempted to challenge one of Marcel’s vampires and as a result of Davina’s ability to locate those performing magic, she was subsequently murdered. When their father protested and sought revenge, he too was murdered at the hands of a vampire. I’ll write more later. 

The gist of his later adulthood is basically he went to business school at 18, he enlisted in the army where he spent the next 15 years moving up in ranks before retiring at 33 as a Sergeant First Class and returning home to New Orleans. He helped put Cecelia through medical school sending a little extra for her and his niece and also ensured that Tara and her kids (being they were his twin brothers kids) were taken care of. He eventually fell in love with Addison Kenner (Tara’s younger sister). The pair dated for a few years before he popped the question. They have a 2 year old daughter together named Riley and they secretly got legally married in a courthouse but aren’t telling anyone until they’re able to have an actual wedding. Upon his return to New Orleans he also opened a restaurant called A La Cordeaux where he not only runs the restaurant but also cooks there.

bio:

Played canon up to when Alaric got hospitalized. Caroline came back as soon as she heard and took over the school, helped where she could with trying to locate Hope, which is what sent her down to new orleans, after finding a replacement for head master back at the school.

She has since stopped looking for a cure for the merge, more worried about finding her children and making sure they stay safe.
