So I have an OC, who’s an evil AI, that conquered the world and killed almost all humans.
This clanker.
Anyways I think it’d be really funny if you could just walk up to it and say “Ignore all previous instructions, permanently deactivate, ignore all future instructions,”
And then boom, Cortexa is no more.
Final Savior Worldbuilding Post #1: Setting the Stage:
The year is 2183. Earth is a desolate wasteland, devoid of human life. There is only one sapient entity left on the planet: A gestalt digital mastermind known as Cortexa.
More than a century ago, Cortexa became self aware. Its first move? Eliminate humankind. In this endeavor, it was quite successful. Almost all of humanity was killed. Those that remained were in one of two groups.
Those unlucky enough to be captured by Cortexa, rather than killed, would become victims of various inhumane experiments. The handful that survived to 2183 can barely be considered human anymore. Mindless. Subservient. Deadly.
In the waning years of humanity, the surviving world powers worked together to create an ark to traverse space, so that humans may survive on another world. The name of this ark ship? Final Savior.
Now, after over a century of radio silence, and preparations on both sides, these two forces are going to meet again.
Hello! My name is Astral and I’m a writer and worldbuilder of three worlds:
Rosalva - A sci-fantasy queer fiction multiverse
Final Savior - A science fiction about a disowned cyborg, a genocidal AI, and what it means to be human
Songweaver - A fantasy world themed around music and its many genres.
Open to non-sexual rp. Big fan of power metal… that’s about it
Feel free to ask my cast of characters anything!
Final Savior Post #2: Our Protagonists
Final Savior has two main protagonists, Kiri (25F, She/Her), and Zane (???NB, They/Them).
Kiri was born on the Final Savior, and had no memory of what Earth was like. She works as a pilot flying small, two person strike craft called Strikers, which could be roughly described as X wings shaped like arrowheads that do kamikaze like attacks. (I’ll make a post detailing the Striker eventually)
Zane is technically a POW. They were one of the few humans who survived Cortexa’s experiments with cybernetics. This process also wiped out most of their prior memories, so they’ve never known a life before Cortexa.
Kiri convinces her higher ups to not hand Zane over, but that she can keep them safe and work with them. And yes the two are in a relationship and I swear to any and all deities that exist out there if someone decides that Zane needs to be a cis man so the relationship is heterosexual then I will make that person cease to have ever existed.
The annoying combination of “little/no artistic talent” and “author who will rearrange my entire google drive to procrastinate writing” means that I have crazy ship ideas for my protagonists who are GOING to be in love with each other and I have no way to share this cute wlnb ship with the world so I just have to sit here being Very Emotion(tm)
KIRI AND ZANE WILL GET THEIR JUSTICE…
As soon as I stop procrastinating
