I redesigned my panda, Flint. XD now he's a fire elementalist bull monk. Long live the bull! Flint: Moo? Side note: this is my first time drawing a bull character.

There's a reason I like warm weather. Why I like fire, why that's my element.
It's a love of consuming and being consumed.
Before Loki, I was still the same way. I liked to fall completely into the things I loved and enjoyed, be unable to escape the emotions they gave me and to have something to both sink into and also throw all my energy into in return.
When I did have Loki, it was the ideal connection and reciprocation I was looking for, and I don't even like to have emotional connections for many things. Just a few things, things I know I probably can't help. And I only like to attach to things if I know for sure that I won't want to be without them later.
Cold feels empty to me, it's the absence of heat. (not bashing those that prefer the cold...but I do not prefer the cold. Also I don't like having to depend on other things to get me warm...a reason why many say they enjoy cool weather, the snuggling factor) But warmth surrounds me, and makes me feel it. Not from taking away (cold taking my natural heat), but by filling. People explain to me why they can't stand heat, and a lot of the time it's because with cold you can layer up and get away from it. Heat, you can't get away. It's harder to shield yourself from it. It makes you acknowledge its presence. And it's almost like I find myself respecting that, and then I can't help but love the power of it. I'm not comparing Loki to fire directly per se (that's a whole other...thing) but, Loki behaves that way too. He is overbearing when he needs or wants to be, and he is an all-consuming force. And that's how I like it. I've said it before and I'll say it indefinitely, Loki loves hard.
When something or someone can and will overwhelm and invigorate so completely and wholly, most of the time I can't help but volunteer to enjoy the take-over.
