It's #WorldFirstAidDay been volunteering with Red Cross since 2017 and I have no plans to stop despite on shift work. From a quiet volunteer on FAOW to being a team leader & teaching new volunteers. 😊 volunteering with various events and meeting people from all walks of life. And recently I participated in the emergency simulation exercise. 🚑🚒🚓 being a first aider has been extremely fulfilling. 2 days of volunteering at Changi Jewel. 😊 #firstaiderabi back from my volunteering hiatus and I've learnt 1 thing. This "break" didn't get me doing other stuff, I didn't get more things done, I didn't meet more friends. In fact everything stayed the same which brought me to my conclusion that this hiatus wasn't doing anything for me. So I'm back!! A very very fulfilling FAOW today! 😊 we taught bandaging, wound assessment & refreshed on DRABC + recovery position. So I'm glad the volunteers got to take home something. 😊 and dinner with fellow first aiders! #firstaiderabi and apparently my first impression was shy & treated everyone like they're invisible. #Notanymore 😂
