I wouldn't count myself as a Rihanna fan by any means, but If she actually sang in this super low register...

//MUSIC//
Flohawk is a project which began in early 2012 by musician and composer Sean McLellan. The initial aim was to only write music for the typical album release, but it grew to more of an experiment in instrument building and design, computer science, electrical engineering, and field recording.

Artist statement:
My purpose for this project was to take a complex route to achieve something simple. So, I set out to build instruments, learn how to play them and finally, compose with them. Samples of these instruments, which included tone generators, circuit-bent toys and other various noise makers, were edited digitally to form most of the sounds heard on the album.

I'm happy to say that I've found time to make music again but I'm still caught up trying to figure out how I want my original music to sound. It's the need to bridge all my different (and sometimes conflicting) tastes in music. This remix of Metronomy's The Look by Two Inch Punch is nearly spot on. I'm beginning to think I should just let the songs come out as they do and then "remix them" with Flohawk and release them that way.
