shops for groceries: Hungary mostly, but Prussia will if Hungary insists or if he urgently needs something.  

kills the spiders: both of them, however, Hungary will insist to spare it and put it outside, while Prussia is ruthless and wants to kill it immediately. 

comes home drunk at 3am: Prussia, of coarse, but he’s greeted by Hungary, who wraps him up in a fuzzy blanket and drags him to their bed or sets him on the couch with a kiss on the forehead. 

makes breakfast: Hungary will, but Prussia will surprise Hungary by making breakfast some days for the two of them.  Hungary likes to try old recipes she knows by heart, but also some new ones she has online

remembers to feed the fish: Hungary, both of them are pretty used to routine, but Hungary enjoys feeding and observing the fish. 

decorates the apartment: definitely Hungary, but Prussia will add a few pieces of decor he finds attractive personally. 

initiates duets: Prussia, he’ll start singing and at first, Hungary would be embarrassed, but then she would go along with his dorky actions and sing. But, Hungary will start a duet with Prussia if they’re singing a scary song, just to freak him out. 

falls asleep first: Prussia, once a becomes tired, sooner than later, he’ll sleep like a rock. Hungary finds this rather funny and she’ll stay up a bit longer and read or sew something small.

Oh, no!  If it turns out that they aren't related in any way, then the shipping is back on! I'm just staying away from the ship entirely at this point in time (no rewriting or anything). I want to see what is actually going on. If we're in the clear, then I'll be happy :)
