It's curious how we've Only really seen the screen-faced faceplate so far... none of the others. This could either mean that—for some reason—he's got a really "good control of himself/his gimmick"(?) orr perhaps it isn't present at all considering that it's TFA SG and some things are changed in curious ways.

The latter option isn't too surreal, perhaps, since one could say regular-verse Blackarachnia "broke him" while SG!Blackarachnia had done the opposite (but put that in double quotations: ""fixing"" the gimmick sounds odd when one still considers that processor-related conditions could have something-something in common with the organic equivalent).

Finally, as for the former one, still odd to me, but wouldn't be too surprising / wouldn't be nonsensical. I cannot really use Keyan's old version of SG from his fanproject-that-he-may-be-ashamed-of-now as something to reference, however, "Random"/"Normal"(💀) was depicted as really stiff from what I remember... or wait (change of line of thought)... if "Icy" was the one with the most control in the regular-verse and "Random" was the most "unhinged"... then perhaps this is where the swap happened. Except SG ver—contrary to the og/regular-verse one—may have even more control; I am one to headcanon that Blitzwing does have some control over the gimmick (and doesn't severely lack it), but SG ver may just have more of it? (Putting it in this way)

I am curious what... Limewing (absolute cinema of a fandom nickname)... shall be like when he finally appears.

Also hold on I just noticed- HIS WINGS ARE UP INSTEAD OF DOWN as it usually is with him- in that panel from the space bridge fight ToT // and ayo these are his, because the cover shows him with bright/white wings, therefore this may not be just a part from a Starscream clone......

I feel like there's too much complaining from me here and too little lore/analysis-talking .w.

I wanna ask u if you'd have any newer lore for your continuity 👉👈 I think abt it sometimes and I miss

And like I've heard mentions of RTE's relations with other 'con high command members, but am wondering what they are defined as, if u could elaborate 🥺

OUHGHHHH RTE LORE... tragically despite still being completely fixated on TF I have not had much time to think about new lore... but I shall provide some rambles anyway 👉👈

one thing from my drafts is how much RTE loves nature, specifically on Cybertron, which I think I've only mentioned in passing before? and the hardest part of being exiled was less about "we lost the war" and more "I'm never going to see any of the places that made home special again" and lowkey I think that left RTE with severe depression for. A While

I also haven't mentioned but I think this plays a key role in their relationship to Earth, because RTE initially is so indifferent to it. Blitzwing is naturally curious about things, but it takes even him some coaxing to get RTE just to humor him and explore a little. at some point in time I actually see Prowl being a big factor in shifting RTE's mindset about Earth, like something he says or shows them makes them realize there's some familiarity in the nature. they don't necessarily become friends but they do have sort of a bond about just sitting in the middle of nowhere watching creatures, and if RTE finds a creature in trouble they always turn to Prowl to help, because they trust him.

(this also means RTE is extremely bitter about the s3 finale, because they do respect Prowl and if they'd been present for the fight maybe things would have gone differently. and that's a significant push for their alliance with Team Prime from s4 or so)

speaking of s4 one of my big hangups is with your girl Blackarachnia, cause she was robbed and I want to do something with her, but I feel like have zero knowledge of Beast Wars impacts my ability to do so ??? I think I've seen mention of it somewhere, but I like the concept of her coming back with the Maximals, and it turns out they kind of found family'd her, even if she's still manipulating them to fight for her. like I have a scene in my head of her losing to Team Prime (or whoever by this point) and realizing the Maximals genuinely care about her and that's all she really wanted. idk she just deserved better !!!!!

OKAY NEXT QUESTION I LOVE RTE WITH THE HIGH COMMAND ✨✨✨

also fun continuity fact which I don't recall if I've mentioned but Blackarachnia was actually Airachnid's protegee ✨✨ I have. most of the logistics for that one. tl;dr Airachnid was trying to get Sentinel back but ended up with Elita-1 instead, so she made do.

OH SMALL BIT from drafts which I almost forgot about but Bee has a lil trauma for flavor ✨✨ cause I mean. how bad would it fuck him up to go through all of BBM only to spend the next however many years alone on a strange planet trying to find the rest of his team all with the constant feeling of being watched. like he sometimes catches a glimpse of red eyes in the dark and he's looking over his shoulder every waking moment. he's only annoying as a coping mechanism from whatever that all was 💖

Starscream would be offended if I talked about anyone else first. RTE is sort of like a loyal pet to him tbh. he was always good to them before Megatron took over, and RTE of course still follows Starscream completely. a lot of his patience / favor towards Blitzwing is partially because of RTE! even if they can't do much against Megaron directly, Starscream at least knows RTE won't stab him in the back. there's a few funny moments in my head with the two of them. Starscream is the only one who can actually order RTE around, RTE constantly mouths off to him but it's a friendly banter kind of thing instead of just aggravating Starscream, they're friends !! who enable each other 100% LMAO

of course there's Shockwave, who RTE took one look at and decided they're siblings now. they're the resident cryptids and often call to gossip, specifically about Lugnut, and RTE is the only one really allowed into Shockwave's lab. RTE hates Shockwave's complete loyalty to Megatron, which causes some significant arguments, but RTE won't hesitate to rub it in Lugnut's face that Megatron likes their brother better.

there's also Soundwave! my main trouble with him is I haven't figured out how to explain TFA Soundwave if Soundwave already exists but occasionally I think about it and rn I'm just somewhere like "Megatron was trying to make a clone or perhaps just a cassette to have something similar to his most loyal follower" but who knows where that will end up. anyway, RTE and Soundwave are good friends despite allegiance issues, and they enjoy a good music listening session together! RTE is also fond of the cassettes :] (I have an entire WaveWave sideplot to which RTE is only somewhat relevant, but I shall spare that ramble XD)

everybody knows RTE and Lugnut absolutely HATE each other LMAO. RTE rolls their optics into the sun every time Lugnut starts up about the glory of Megatron, Lugnut doesn't trust RTE's loyalty and tells them so constantly. RTE only somewhat tolerates him because he's the kindest to Blitzwing. all of this makes it infinitely more important (or perhaps just amusing) when they actively team up to threaten Sentinel. they agree on one (1) thing and it's FUCK that guy we HAVE to kill him.

aaaaand, well. there's Blackarachnia. they don't spend much time around each other. RTE will never forgive her for what she did to Blitzwing, they don't know the reason and they honestly don't care. they'll barely even speak to her, just glare or hiss and make sure to stand between her and Blitzwing any time they're in the same room. actually... not that she's particularly revealing about herself, but RTE knows next to nothing about Blackarachnia in general, and they do not care to learn anyway. RTE knows how to hold a grudge, especially towards anyone who hurts their conjunx. they don't soften towards Blackarachnia at all until the whole s4 thing and that's like, just a teeny bit.

I feel like I'm missing someone but I'm pretty sure that's all of the main high command... I don't know enough about Strika to say for sure but I do feel like she and RTE would get along on the battlefield, perhaps less so the rest of the time because of the whole Lugnut thing LMAO 🤔

YEAHHHHH MY ART BUDDIES !!! it's no secret that RTE ends up sort of befriending Team Prime by s3 or so [which is significantly longer in RTE canon, as it should've been imo] and by end or post s4 when RTE and Blitz are something of Cybertron to Earth ambassadors, Bulky and Blitz just get some time to appreciate art 💖 they deserve to be buddies. also do not say anything mean about Bulkhead's art where Blitzwing can hear you. 🔪

Since ppl usually treat the topic of "Cybertronians vs the temperature of their own body" kinda how it's like with humans (warm-blooded organisms, that's how google translated that word anyway x_x)

My casual ol' headcanon is that as a result of the surgery (and I indeed am taking the weapons into consideration, so despite them), Blitzwing experiences random, a-bit-marginal frame temperature changes. So like:

It's frequently normal, then, almost suddenly, he feels colder (or more warm) and it lasts for a longer amount of time (it could even be almost a decacycle), then it's normal again for whatever amount of time aaand then the perceived temperature changes again

It's not ssoo bad, but it still bothers him

Once I've seen a hc where he was getting colder/warmer as he stayed as one of the three for too long (but in mine it doesn't affect the temperature)

Idk if you talked about that sort of headcanon before n' I kinda wonder what d'ya think

I would probably consider it a technical issue-- his frame's not well built bc of the experimenting, and that's bound to lead to issues just with housing alone. coolant leaks, stuff like that, that could affect his temperature at random... I don't know enough about the technical aspect to really say, it just makes sense in my head how that would be caused xD but whatever the case I totally like this concept !!! one more for the ever expanding list of chronic ailments Blitzwing gets to deal with because of the experiments. sorry Blitzy</3

sidebar, it seems weird to me that people treat Cybertronians as warm blooded ??? I don't know. I feel like they'd be closer to lizards. they need to be warm before they can do anything. vehicles don't do well in the cold without running for a bit. idk

(already handing you an ice pack) I haven't seen that! okay, I am curious about it being on Cybertron. feels like that makes sense since it was open ended with the 'cons leaving Earth. and I do like the potential of the team having to face the consequences of everything they've done, bc let's be honest, they've been racking up a lot of collateral damage that the show has not addressed. I wonder who the new friend / old enemy will be... still not holding my breath for the writing to actually be good, but I will watch and perhaps they'll surprise me. at least it sounds like Thrash is getting his correct characterization back.
