The Four Bean Salad : A summer time recipe . You will need: Four kinds of beans. I used chick peas, red kidney beans, white beans and green beans. Both canned or dried variety can be used. Make sure to boil the beans if you are using dried (fresh in case if the green beans) prior to making the salad. . For the dressing: 1/4 cup white vinegar, 2tbsp palm/cane/brown sugar (you may substitute with white sugar but it won't taste as good), salt to taste, freshly ground black pepper and a tsp of red chilli powder (or cayenne pepper powder, or chopped green chillies, or chilli flakes) . To make this: mix all ingredients for the dressing in a small bowl. In a large mixing bowl, add all the beans and add the dressing mixture. Mix well. Serve chilled. .
