PEACOCK BLUE: is your muse honest? what sorts of lies do they tell, if not?

He doesn’t tend to tell outright lies–most of what he says is honest. Although he does have a tendency to deceive himself, and to make deadpan jokes without taking the audience’s experience into account… which means they just come across as full-on seriousness when they’re not.

In the most direct sense, he’s pretty blunt. In the indirect sense, he tends to avoid letting on his negative emotions (for too long/too genuinely) with strangers.

ACACIA: how much does it take for your muse to hate someone?

It would take a lot! Don’t get me wrong, he’s very easy to annoy, (and almost as easy to make up with), but… look, he got imprisoned for 500,000 years, and he doesn’t even harbor resentment towards the guy who did that, (at least, not for that reason, but even then… he doesn’t really, anymore, anyway.)

You’d have to be… actively, continuously terrible, in a way that directly affects him or people close to him. Then he might start to ‘hate’ you.

But hey, he’s a comic relief character by nature. It makes sense that hatred would be hard to achieve, right?

HONEY: when your muse loves someone (whether it be romantic, platonic, or familial love), how do they show it? (can be of past recollection if necessary)

His family and close friends are so, so important to him. He’d do anything for them, to make them happy. He has a very deep-seated need to be useful, and when he can’t perform his intended purpose, that manifests as wanting to please his friends.

Like… he usually doesn’t pay a lot of attention to what other people want, just driving situations towards his own interests, but with friends, he pays more attention. He tries more to be helpful, cheer them up, etc.

And when he says “I’d do anything for you,” he means it–to a very dangerous degree.

ATOLL: if your muse could go anywhere, without any restrictions whatsoever, where would they go? why would they go there?(think place and time?)

He isn’t really drawn to places so much as people–being locked in one place for millennia will do that to you. He doesn’t care much for travel; anywhere that’s quiet is nice.

But if you mean, going to a time/place he’s been before? He’d go back to Dreamside, to before he was trapped in the Glass Mountain, to when he was around his friends and family and things weren’t so complicated.

CADMIUM YELLOW: what subjects or topics does your muse avoid, because they bring up harmful / painful memories?

Jeez, uh… the thing about that is, most of his negative associations are also tied up in positive ones. Or if they’re negative, rather than trying to forget about things, he just… doesn’t admit to himself that they were bad. So the only topics he tends to avoid are the sorts that lead to personal introspection.
