A delicious and patriotic trifle with layers of moist pound cake, vanilla pudding, fresh strawberries and blueberries, and fluffy whipped cream on top.
Ingredients: 1 pound cake, cubed. 1 pint fresh strawberries, sliced. 1 pint fresh blueberries. 2 cups vanilla pudding. 2 cups whipped cream. 1/4 cup sugar. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Instructions: Put the sugar and sliced strawberries and blueberries in a bowl and mix them together. For about 15 minutes, let them soak. To make whipped cream, mix the whipped cream and vanilla extract in a different bowl. Put half of the cubed pound cake in the bottom of a trifle dish. Put some vanilla pudding on top of the cake. Place a layer of the mashed berries on top. Put some whipped cream on top. Put more pound cake, pudding, berries, and whipped cream on top. Add some fresh berries on top to finish. Put the trifle in the fridge for at least two hours before you serve it. Serve and have fun!
