Hi, I'm Giselle. I recently got a tattoo on my foot and I saw that you also have tattoos on your feet. Since is this is my first tattoo, I just wanted to ask about the healing process. My foot is still very swollen, I got it 3 days ago. How long should I expect the swelling to continue?
Hi, Giselle! My octopus took longer to swell down (4-5 days) because I had to work on my feet and where constricting shoes. It took about 3 weeks to completely heal, too. It was my first tattoo, and just sucked haha. The sea monkey I just just got done stopped swelling about 3 days after. That’s because I wore flats or flip flops and didn’t work on my feet. Plus, it’s not as colored and I used Aquaphor the first 3 days. Everyone is different, but I’d recommend little constriction and walking. Aquaphor is really great to use too. :) You should be completely healed in two weeks, though. Maybe three since it’s your first tattoo.. d:
