Thomos lets Josey know that her disrespectful behavior towards him will not be tolerated under his roof! He takes back her dowry and kicks her out of his hovel in the middle of the night, with only $42 to her name. Oof, good luck dear!
Finally, someone! Aobrey Fyshe stops by and Enith is delightful to have a person to talk to. The teenage girl goes straight for the violin... Enith was about to sit and listen, but of course, the cat “ate” the couch.
The family made a decent amount of money this round, especially with Keven’s gift to Josey. A sum of $2,724 was sent to the royal steward!
The last day of summer arrived... and I nearly forgot to sell anything! A home business with fish fillets, salt cellars and weaved baskets was opened. Elras and Keven were the first customers to arrive , naturally — such loving, dedicated men. Even the royal steward came by (in your dreams, Sophey!)
I felt like I had been neglecting Aobrey, so I tried to find her a match! The settlement is sorely lacking in eligible men, so with 2 out 4 outcast men snagged up (by her sisters)... I’m not holding my breath.
Unfortunately, there were no sparks between Aobrey and this fella. They seemed to get along, but nothing beyond a friendship. Poor girl got a sunburn for nothing!
Thomos and Josey have been bickering about his relationship with Astrid since day one. It’s gotten past the point of insults and poking, and escalated to full blown fights.
After losing to his daughter, Thomos went into aspiration failure. Nothing says “I hate you” like becoming enemies with your daughter and wishing to see her die so you can drink her!
