Is Gourry compared to a dog all that much in canon, or is that just a fanon thing? I can think of only, like, one instance in the anime where that comparison is made, but... I’m hooked on the concept of cuddly, affectionate, puppy-like Gourry. Though he might be a little overeager at times. Is it worth braving his fear of flying just so that Lina can hold him? No, no it’s not.

I’ve seen the angel x devil thing done with other Japanese side of fandoms before (apparently it’s a pretty popular AU in the Oso-san fandom) so maybe it’s also kind of A Thing, but that’s just my two cents so idk

I think in Oso-san fandom there’s official art they base it on??

Yeah it’s definitely a pretty common AU in a lot of fandoms though. I’ve seen it in most of my previous ones too.
