I can't help but thing about how disoriented Johnny had to be when they rescued him and tried to start catching him up.

Like, trying to comprehend that the Boss, the person he cares about most in this world, was the god damn president of the United States?! That he was gone for actual YEARS

And that while he was gone for those years, he was living in his own personal hell. He probably can't play video games anymore, at least not for a while. I'm sure his nightmares are filled with 2bit music and screaming.

And on top of that, there are all these new people. We let a fed into the Saints? AND AN MIA AGENT?! Miller seems fine at least...WHAT DO YOU MEAN MILLER WAS ONE OF THE LEADS IN THE SYNDICATE?!

And all these saints he never got to meet. Oleg seems like an actual badass. He wished he could have met him. But, he was on actual hell instead.

How would he feel about the saints abandoning Stilwater? About being in a movie, one that uses his likeness without his permission? How would he feel about the saints abandoning their roots to become essentially what they hated? The boss was a figure head for authority, rule making, and law and order, even if they were a bad one. That couldn't have sat right with him.

All of this happening while trying to fight an alien army and trying to "save humanity's soul" or whatever.
