Reserved VS Energetic (graevitia)
Given that an event Laurent had not expected to happen at ALL had happened yesterday - he still felt on edge, his mask threatening to waver and crack just as it had on that said event, and yet: despite the situation being bad, a rare genuine smile played on his face. Knowing that person was there made him determined. More so than usual, anyway: finding a way out was all the more important now. The very reason he'd traveled back in time before and went through those nightmarish five years was to protect the future - both of Yilesse, and his father's future.
Yet having his emotions on such tenterhooks, as it were, was not something he was enjoying. H-he needed to calm down. How would he think logically on how to best help his father if he wasn't calm? As such, he had retreated to the 'library' of the castle, finding reading the most sensible and logical thing to do to calm himself down - he enjoyed it immensely, after all. ....It was a shame the library didn't have a cute cat he could pat while he was reading, but that was neither here nor there.
His peaceable reading was cut short, however - on continuous loud noises emitting from the other end of the library. What in Naga's name was that? He tried to ignore it at first, but the noises simply persevered. Again and again. Sighing, he gently shut the tome he had been reading shut, and headed over to the source of the noise. It seemed to be a rather...curiously energetic madam.
She reminded him of Morgan and her chicanery, somewhat, with the energy and all. Speaking up, his tone was soft, but to the point. " Excuse me. Young madam. I do hate to interrupt your - er - expressively enthusiastic merry-making, but...I am attempting to read and calm myself down. Could you please be a little more quiet? I can hear you from the other end of the library."
Hopefully, his polite request was reasonable enough.
