The fact that no one ever talks about neither Grifty nor Lumpy is just astonishing to me. The best character designs in the game, right there.

-favourite thing about themfor a guy that wants to make money from spinning tales, he didn’t pick a very ideal location to catch people’s eyes! i guess that adds to the whole laid-back vibe he gives off, which i should say is my favourite thing abt him! he is a bit of a mystery, and that’s charming too, in it’s own way hehe.-least favourite thing about themwhat’s there to dislike about some lil’ ol’ minstrel?-favourite line“He went alone wherever evil dwelt, and banished it with shell and sheer bravado.”he is here for our entertainment, so of course he talks like a poet sometimes! but what i mostly liked about this one was the use of ‘shell and sheer bravado’ for a koopa ;o-brOTPyou know what? maybe Herb T. isn’t the type to gossip like Grifty does, but if there’s any place i’d imagine him chilling (other than that stinky rooftop), it’d be at Herb T.’s place! I wouldn’t have thought this up if you hadn’t suggested him though, anon, so thank you!-OTPoh boye, who knows? Grifty x some sunlight.-nOTPwhoooooo knows….hmmm…-random headcanonoh, how about this! Goombella’s an archaeologist, and Grifty’s been studying all these historical interactions for a while now, so maybe the two could pair up and go on some kind of expedition together!and maybe it’s not enough to be an otp, but now that i’m thinking about it, they could actually work romantically too! either way, i think it’d be fun to see the two exploring the kingdom for research- or maybe even the different kingdoms in mario odyssey! it’d give Grifty a good reason to move around a bit otL-unpopular opinioncan’t say i have one ;P-song i associate with themdunno! maybe he listens to country. then Herb T. shakes his head at him and the rest of the regulars beg to kick him out--favourite picture of themhere’s a classhic..
