H20cean Product review: I have to give this 5 stars! It is literally sent from heaven above.
We’ve all had the moment in time where we think getting a piercing is a great idea, then later realize it requires a lot more care than we initially thought. Personally, I have super sensitive skin so getting piercings is a total and complete pain. Despite this, I still love them. I got my nose pierced last year and was initially very good with following proper post piercing care, but eventually got lazy and stopped. I assumed my piercing had healed after like a month, but then noticed a bump forming under my piercing. I saw this bump and freaked out and naturally went straight to google. I was relieved to see that this was normal, but was very overwhelmed with all the different remedies people suggested for this problem. I started off with hot water compressions which, temporarily worked but only lasted for a week or so. After this I returned to google and tried using tea tree oil; this also temporarily worked but was also short lived (and terribly smelly). I then resorted to using turmeric which is a spice widely used by asian cultures. I had heard that this was a natural remedy that would work and was depending on this as my last hope. This also is a MYTH. Do not believe people who tell you this works, all that you will get out of it is a yellow nose and stained sheets (if you are trying this over night). Unfortunately that also didn’t work, but I did permanently stain white sheets :( At this point I was ready to give up and remove my piercing when I decided to try one more thing that I had heard of: H20cean. I am not exaggerating when I say this, but this was literally magic. I started by using it 4 times a day and noticed the bump going down in size in just one day. After 2 weeks of usage I noticed it was almost completely gone, but I continued to use it just in case. Now that my bump is totally gone I can say this product definitely works!!! It doesn’t smell bad, doesn’t stain and isn’t tedious to use. If you ever have any piercing trouble, whether it be your nose or ears I highly recommend h20cean.
Industrial Piercing INFECTION?!
Fragrance Consultant Job
So finally I have a job, I'm still a little skeptical even though I technically according to them have the position I filled out some paper work today. I will be working as a seasonal fragrance consultant at Macy's. I hope it goes past seasonal because I'm tired of switching up jobs and the pay @ $7.75/hour isn't that bad. I just await the phone call now for training plus I have the number of the female who is to call me for training so I'm going to wait until November 7th and if she hasn't called by then I will call her. I love cosmetics and fragrances so this would be a lovely position for me the only negative drawback is if it ends at the 12/26 mark as the representative told me today. Yet she said something interesting at the end of our meeting "One thing leads to another" she said so I'm going to take that as a sign of hope, plus she said although I'm in the fragrance dept. I can mingle with the cosmetics sales as well, plus it'll be the first position where I can wear nice clothes and not a lame uniform! So lets pray that pans out, as far as my navel piercing is concerned the left side is
STILL
a little swollen unfortunately so I went and purchased some H20cean just to be safe. Especially since when I went to have the piercing preformed the studio only accepted cash payment and I usually only carry my bank card. My sister & brother-in-law were there for support (plus I had to drive all the way up a mountain to pick them up during their work shift since their work vehicle broke down) and my sister paid the cash so I didn't have to leave and come back. I had the $ at the time to get it done, that's why I picked that time. But she said just to wait later and pay her back cause she didn't need it then. Well today she needed it... and it only happens she asked for it because mom told her I got my school rebate check, gah, I'm so changing my address A.S.A.P.! And the $30 in my wallet was for my gas tank which was floating on empty. They "owe" me a tank of gas yet after discovering I would have to travel back UP the mountain (Which gas I didn't have to get up there in the first place) to get my tank of gas I told her to forget about it, its pointless to travel all the way up there and waste all that gas just to get a full tank. Needless to say I don't want anything happening to my belly investment, so I got the can of h20cean home tonight and after my shower I sprayed some of the solution onto my navel. It felt clean and cool and refreshing I really enjoyed the sensation, so far I have only read positive reviews about the product and people that I have spoken to who have had much body modification done recommended it to me so I trust their judgement. I will let you know how it goes and do a follow up post once the wound is totally healed. I'm pretty sure my tough epithelial cells are just beginning to form in the walls of the piercing because my barbell is tightening around the piercing, not uncomfortably I can't move it to clean it tight but just you know... tightening up. I've had a couple people suggest I use peroxide, or bactine for piercings but I have read negative things about both of those usually with them being to harsh. I am glad I got the h20cean and can't wait to see how my navel finally heals and the road this new job opportunity takes me!
