was this not something that he should be discussing with hank? given the reaction of the other, the clear surprise, the breath that he takes and the further probing he does... and the sudden embarrassment connor felt, it leaves him with the impression that he may have wanted to keep that information to himself.
but he doesn’t like keeping things from hank. he never has. ❛ -- i don’t feel it all the time. ❜ but that was commonplace when it came to emotions, he figures. connor is never always happy, or sad, or angry, but those were emotions that he could easily place a name to once he felt them. but this was new, the warmth that emanates from him -- it was the closest thing to a physical feeling he could name, and it was a high he continues to chase. ❛ but at times.. like when you first wake up in the morning, after you head to the kitchen and start drinking your coffee.. or just when we’re watching tv with sumo on my lap and i see you looking at me, i -- my chest feels light, and everything slows down for a while, though i don’t know what it means. ❜
