it was well documented that sangjoon would do anything for the perfect shot. it was how he had become so popular and took some of the best pictures- he was simply willing to go the distance and do things other people were not so willing to do.
that day he had woken up and simply decided that he needed some new material. it was quite simple to pack a bag of some things, packing up his tripod and slinging it over his shoulders with his rucksack before grabbing his camera and hanging it around his neck. he didn’t really have a particular destination in mind when he left his studio in the early hours of the morning, but he wasn’t quite sure when he would be returning.
sangjoon had just spent some time wandering around looking for a good place until he settled in a rather prickly bush in the middle of one of the buk districts many natural parks. and that was where he had been laying for the past five hours, flat on his stomach and camera at the ready and only his feet sticking out the back of the bush. he’d taken some good pictures already, but not nearly anything interesting enough to sate him.
not even when the heavens decided to open up above his head and the rain started to hammer down did he move. though he did take notice of his companion, slowly moving an arm to place the lycanroc’s pokeball between them. he did know that his friend was not all too fond of rain, what with being a rock type and all. “return if you want to, kyu,” he just mumbled, keeping himself quiet just in case there was anything around, though he was rather pleased when his long time friend just rolled the pokeball back towards him with his snout, “that’s a good boy.”
so, he had lycanroc remained hidden in the bush in the pouring rain, though it did seem as though it was going to pay off as kyu’s ear’s swivelled, picking up something coming towards them. “stay.... still,” he whispered, bringing his camera up to his eye, ready to snap whatever might be coming along.
