Thing that's just occured to me— what the fuck happened to the headless guy in Ghosts?
No, listen. I know that what with him being dressed like a Tudor nobleman and missing his head, we're obviously set up to assume he was executed, but think about it.
The rule of the Ghosts universe is that nobody is allowed to leave the place where they died— which means that execution is one death that we can definitely rule out, because then he would be haunting Tower Green or somewhere, not some random manor house.
Whatever happened to him was either an accident or a murder (most likely the former, since how many murderers go for slicing the head clean off), because he would not have been officially executed in the house, and I want to hear that story.
Q: Please Help Settle a Bet. I’m Currently Being Chased By a Headless Guy With a Head in His Hand. My Librettist Says That Means He Isn’t Really Headless, But I Say Different. Who’s Right?
A: Believe your librettist. Indeed, it seems as though the person in your case DOES have a head. It just isn’t connected. Better you should use the term “head-free”.
It's all Just Smoke and Mirrors.
