I’ve seen a lot of mlm/nblm only banners on posts lately. If this was popular when I was IDing as a transman, I would have found so much solace in those posts. I would have felt so connected to boys just like me, and that is such an amazing LGBT experience.
I don’t think they’re bad at all. I did notice how I still experienced all of the same feelings, although my gender has shifted into a place where I have to come to terms with my bisexuality. Obviously the way mlm/nblm experience love is different than a straight woman does. Then I caught myself wondering if people thought bi woman were the same way and it reminded me that people view bisexuality as half straight, half gay.
I don’t love men in the same way a straight woman does. My love for women is closer to the way lesbians love women than the way straight men do, but it’s not the same. The way I love women shapes the way I love men, and the way I love men enhances the way I love women. My love will find its way to any gender for different reasons, but they all support each other. It could never be the same thing as straight (or gay) because bisexuality in itself is an entire different experience!
(oh, and, support mlm/nblm and their banners)
