♥ — GISELLE, JAREN, MARLANA: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT  2B / ∞ 2025 vs 2026

GISELLE: For a social climber whose profile is usually the vibe of a woman applying for a Virtue Unseen Love reality show, her account's been oddly professional. There's been several photos from the holidays and her best friend's wedding, but the flirtatious captions have vanished and she even publicly fumbled a Queen she'd been vying for on Murmur. The poor thing must be completely addled from work stress.

JAREN: Jaren's platforms are nearly exactly the same as last year: thirst traps, the dumbest TokTiks with his friends that you've ever seeing, and Murmurs that make you stare off into the distance and think "how does this guy make more money than me". He recently has tagged a girl on his feeds for once, but his viceonly and buzzle apps are still online.

MARLANA: Roughly nothing has changed about Marlana's posts except that she seems to be falling back into her former 'party girl' routine a little too easily in the past year. She's seemed... slightly less on edge in the new year, but old habits of being entirely too chaotic die a little too hard.

Alyssum's Polagram is quite aesthetically pleasing, typically photos of her outfits or anything she finds beautiful throughout the week. She does post photos with others, but they are often archived. Her Murmur account is torn between mildly/sometimes funny murmurs and other times wholly confusing or off-putting remarks. Her first and middle names are Alyssum Veronica, and she likes to mess with people by using different variations of those names to introduce herself, meaning her handles don’t match.

Izzy is rather private on social media, even before Hiraeth. She doesn't post her full name or location anywhere, and only follows her own family to check in on them. Polagram is mostly nature photos or moments of solitude. She rarely uses Murmur, but when she does, she can be a bit passive-aggressive or dry. Izzy seldom uses emojis.

Jaren uses Polagram for thirst traps and snippets of his interests. He rarely ever has posts featuring anyone else, to "maintain his brand", but it's generally in his best interest for people not to know who he's with. His Murmur is just the dumbest shit you've ever read that leaves you wondering, "Wow, they really give degrees to anyone these days, huh?"
